Totally agree with the Browns comment!!! Wish our guy on defense #11 would have the kind of impact they're going to have
I've been critical of 11 but he does need help around him.

Conversely, #4 was surrounded by all stars around him and still couldn't get it done.

The FO hasn't done the same for Micah.

He does that's agree, matter of fact the attention that he does get, someone needs to beat their 1 on 1 matchups

A few things to consider.

Beebe will be playing between Martin and Smith, so that is a plus for him. Putting a rookie or an average player between a good player that is improving himself, and an all-pro is always a plus. Guyton on the edge, but next to Smith helps him as well.
Yes some growing pains and learning curves. Maybe gel by game 4 to 6.

OL coming out of college now days, are more real to play than what they used to be. Maybe both of theses guys are.
And possibly Bass and Hoffman are slightly ahead of them, and creates some good TC competition. Which is great for the entire OL.
We can have some very good depth.

I find it hilarious that fans think the Browns are some big juggernaut team. By reading on here, I would think Browns won the SB and we went winless.
However, the has become what is expected. Always doom & gloom in CZ land.

Browns have a top 5 ranked defense and the 6th best rushing team from last year.

It's not hyperbole that their strengths will attack our weaknesses.

I forsee nothing hilarious about that

There is no question it will be better. The starting center will be better and that makes a big difference. The running game scheme will be better (last year was awful). They will work together in the mini camps and OTA's and training camp so I don't expect it will take long for them to gel. Hopefully by the time we get into the 3rd or 4th game we can see them working together as a solid group.
We have an aged RG, and a RT who the heck knows what's going on. We have not found our WR2, we have 2 Rookies stepping in, and good or bad last year how on earth is our RB situation better? The scheme will be better? We don't have the horses to enable whatever this scheme will be, so as much as I like your confidence I would hardly say "in no question" will it be better. We will only know in time, and either be optimistic as you are or pessimistic as many like I am. And oh, the albatross in the room is the pending contracts of 3 players, and the up in the air status of our QB. Far far far more questions than answers on this team as usual

That defense has a serious nasty streak about it.

At home, on opening day…it’s going to be tough against them.

They also won’t mind patiently running the ball down our throats. It’s a terrible matchup for Dallas and I would have picked Cleveland even if it was like week 8 and Dallas was 7-0.

I don’t expect a whole lot from this team, but they aren’t going to be as bad as things are going to look in week one.

And unlike the Cowboys they actually utilized free agency and added players NOT past their primes.

It will be an eye opener for some here.

We drafted 2 Dlinemen and could still bring in a FA.

I know they have a very good defense. However, it does not mean they are going to over power the Dallas offense.
What is hilarious is the constant doom & gloom on here about everything.

It is not like all of a sudden the Cowboys will play like a 2-15 type team.

Probably a lot of overreaction. Cleveland isn’t a great team, but it’s truly is an awful matchup and spot for Dallas.

The way this off-season went down, they kinda needed a softball early on….not that there’s many of those around.

I mean, they get off to like a 1-4, and players may start to question some things….not the least of which being…’*** is the plan around here??’

We drafted 2 Dlinemen and could still bring in a FA.
D lineman with no pro game experience and IF there's a FA added, it will not be a blue chip player in their prime.

None of these additions or hypothetical additions will move the needle in 2024 and Micah will still be the only front 7 player keyed on other than Dlaw.

Will this year‘s o line be better than last year‘s o line? How long do you think it will take for them to gel?
I'm sure they're going to have their moments, but all in all I'm just hoping that the O-Line is decent enough to have a decent run game to help our challenged QB improve his lowly skill set!

it is what it is, this team has to be consistent, play physical, and play smart the rest will take care of itself

Unfair to expect Guyton to be Tyron in year one. There will be some growing pains for sure. That said, Beebe is going to be a huge upgrade over Biadasz

They can be better in some aspects. But on passing downs, you're going to be challenged at LT, if we're comparing Guyton to the games Tyron suited up at LT in 2024.

Better? One is replacing an All Pro and future HOF LT.. The other is replacing a pro bowl C. Will those two be part of a “better” OL than what we had in 2023? I don’t see that in 2024. Maybe down the road.

I like both Guyton and Beebe as draft picks. But just assuming they both are instant All Pros and instant upgrades is just a lack of objectivity.
Truth.

The Biadasz hate on here is ridiculous.

When CooperB gets his 2nd Pro Bowl, then he will be an upgrade.
