The whole purpose of drafting a quarterback is you have a cheap deal for 4 years and you can build around them. Cousins is not a cheap deal.

Cousins is old, he could pull a Rodgers in the first game too…then where is Atlanta at? They got their backup who might have to play sooner than later.

I mean yes and no. It’s been proven it’s easier to build a team around a guy on a rookie deal than it’s not. I don’t think they will ever have any regrets on Penix. Might have buyers remorse on that Cousins deal though lol.

How? All they’ve done is win a playoff game and it’s time to pay Love. They never got the benefit of building a team around a cheap good QB.

We did that...how did it work out. Love now has 1 less playoff win in 7 less years starting.
