One of the topics of the day was how fast his first line went from good to bad. A good line can become depleted fast. And lets not forget that Flozell earned the nickname Flozell "False Start" Adams, where he became a liability because of being undisciplined
Yeah he was good for a false start a game but he could at least block lol. Make no mistake ROMO had a bad line for about 2 or 3 years but to say he had it his whole career is nuts. It was the time Jerry thought Bernadeau and Livingd could play. Moronic.

Romo had two sets of good lines here. The Gurode, Flozell, David era and the Tyron, Frederick’s, Martin era.
Romo had these lines you mention for a total of 3 seasons. You could argue 4 but the implosion of the o-line in 09 was quick and painful.

Dak has never had less than a decent line.

Never said that Romo didn't have good lines. To me its just a cycle that teams and quarterbacks have to go through. That is one of the hardest things to maintain, is an entire line, since it is too many peaces you have to replace and keep up.

About who's better between Dan and romo. Dak now has what Romo had. A scrappy line, a wr and a te.
They're both on the same career trajectory at the moment, so it's hard to say either is better than the other. Talent wise many of us forget that Romo had significant talent around him so I'm not sure what this year will prove? Dak has a chance to surpass a number of Romo's numbers including wins and yards, but other than that I doubt anything will change unless the whole team starts playing better and wins more playoff games.

I don’t disagree. I’m just saying he did not have a bad line the majority of his career those Bernadeu lines were like 2 or 3 years.

Some teams get it though. Eagles get it. That’s one thing they do right they lose linemen and another guy is ready. Cowboys are drafting a bunch of linemen and we aren’t seeing them.

Romo had more Pro Bowl O-liunemen than any other team during his tenure as starting QB. He constantly had a Hall of Fame TE. At points in his career, he had a Hall of Fame WR along with several Pro Bowlers.

Romo had the benefit of many powerful running attacks featuring several thousand yard rushers including one that broke the Cowboys record for yardage in a season.

Romo and Dak's initial entries into the game are polar opposites. Romo had three season to develop, three seasons in which he did not throw a single pass. Dak was the starter day #1.

Who coached Tony Romo during his career? Only Sean Payton and Bill Parcells. And Dak?

but the Eagles don't hold onto Quarterbacks either. In fact, I wonder when the last time they had the highest paid Quarterback in the NFL was.

Neither can get it done but daks had the better teams but it doesn't matter. Not only on them. Dak and a few other players don't care and it's upsetting but what can we do?

Romo could not get it done ......by the time he really understood how to play the position his body was being held together by duck-tape and twine.

Dak, if he would have played like his first few years (very conservative, protecting the ball, and not caring about stats) who knows, but this new checkdown King, Deer in the headlights, throws multiple interceptions a game Dak will not.

Comparing them is useless ......... both failed spectacularly in totally different ways.

How bout we see if a QB , that the rest of the league coming out of college thinks can play, does in a Jerry Jones led Football team ...... its been 35 years since we got one of those.
New? This is nothing new. He can't hit a deep target, he can't hit a RB in the flat, he has no pocket prescence, everyone knows once you see the deer in headlights look it's all over. People have been complaining about this for years. The contract he got will haunt us for years.

Dak couldn’t hold Romo’s jockstrap, the talent chasm between them is so wide he doesn’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence.
