This AL West is for the taking not a dominate team showing . I’m all for letting Burger go putting Jason Foscue in the every day lineup go young give him a full year .

I understand the Knicks took 53 years to win another Championship.

Well the Texas Rangers moved to Arlington in 1972 from Wash DC the old Senators team . It took the Rangers 51 years to win a WS 2023 . I’m hoping it’s not another 51 years for the next one .

The Mets finally fired Carlos Mendoza. Not that the front office gave him a chance. Stearns should not be fired, he should resign in disgrace for what he put together this year. A bunch of oft injured players who even at their best were average. This is the 1st year in decades I don't even turn the game on even if I have the time. I thought the worse team money could buy belonged to the years of Bobby Bonilla but Stearns has outdone that horrible franchise. What makes Cohen think Stearns is the one that is going to right the ship. Mets finally have an owner who can go against anyone with money but hires Stearns who could not put together a little league team much less a major league franchise. truly embarrassed to be a mets fan.

Stearns should have been the first to go. He has no business running a big market team. He also depleted the minor leagues prospects.

Texas finished last season 81-81 . This year at the 90 game mark they are at 45-45 but the division this year is a weak sauce not a dominant team in the bunch . Maybe with some luck they can snag a WC slot this is what I see as ceiling .

The problem they exhibit is young stars Langford Jung & Vet Seagar are made of glass at any moment one or all three are on the DL with some type of ailment . Can’t win from the trainers table .

And really for a corner OF although he’s healthy plays every day Nimmo the ex Met is nothing special . Hitting around 260 struggling to get to 30 RBI’s single digit HR’s ok defense .

Pretty impressive scouting . Rangers on the field drafted by Texas Jung a # 1 Langford # 1 Winn # 1 Carter # 2 Latz # 5 … drafted in different years of course . This year as it’s told they got the # 1 rated HS pitcher in the draft with the 16th pick round 1 tall left hander out of a Florida HS Gio Rojas.

They followed that pick up in the 2nd round with a smooth swinging 6’4” Texas HS shortstop Connor Comeau who eventually could replace often injured Corey Seagar the once great ex Dodger who helped Texas win a WS .

Here’s hoping another WS is not too far off as the win in 2023. Currently sitting on top of the AL West with 66 games left . Play ball .

Even though they are .500 somehow my Rangers can win this AL West or possibly a WC . Need tomorrow against Houston , not get swept . Keeping my interest . Love my baseball . By the way the pitchers clock my goodness it’s great , keeps things moving .
