That is pretty tight.

Fwiw, Louisville is supposed to be pretty strong, and their home environment can be challenging at times.

Who knows...maybe they make it a real game.

I think Carr is very good but he's getting a bit too much hype. Then again, he'll probably be asked to throw more this year as they beefed up the WR corps and they lost Love and Price in the run game.

Personally, while I think he has a good shot at being in NYC, if I had to put money on it, I'd think Moore would be the top candidate. Hard to call Mensah underrated here as he is tied for 3rd but he was very good on a decent Duke team and now he has a better offense around him AND brought in one of his top Duke WRs in the portal.

FWIW, the Wiscy ND game is in Lambeau so not sure how much of a home field it is for Wisconsin.

The SMU FSU line is intriguing. FSU was pretty dreadful last year and SMU should be pretty decent this year. So FSU being only a 3 point dog at home is interesting.

Colorado (+7) at Georgia Tech tonight up against air.
LSU (-10) vs Clemson flipping to watch during my Texas Tech game.
Oklahoma State (-13.5) versus Tulsa. --I need to see if EMo and UNT north are for real.
SMU (-3) at Florida St is interesting and on Monday. FSU has knocked off rust and already played but SMU is probably a much better team.
Baylor (+7,5) at Auburn. Aranda on hottest of hot seats while new staff with turned over roster at Auburn.
Ole Miss (-7) at Louisville on a non-NFL Sunday.

Going to be a lot of NCAAF watched this next 5 days.

Carr was one step above bus driver last year. But he showed steady improvement
This year he will be expected to carry a much heavier load. We shall see.
arch is still riding his name; he has done really nothing to be considered the #2 candidate
if his name was smith he would barely be top 20

Doing Heisman odds stuff pre-season is even stupider than doing the AP top 25.
NONE of the top 8 pre-season Heisman faves last year received votes in NY except Jeremiah Smith who finished 6th.
Mendoza who won was 23rd in pre-season far behind Jacklson Arnold who lost his job and is now at UNLV..

University of North Carolina football general manager Michael Lombardi, the highest-paid general manager in college football, resigned Thursday after a tumultuous tenure in Chapel Hill working alongside Bill Belichick, the university said.

Lawyers investigating UNC football questioned people about allegations involving assistant Steve Belichick and, separately, about a possible sexual relationship between at least one employee and at least one player, people familiar with the probe tell WRAL. GM Michael Lombardi resigned Thursday.

It’s definitely an advantage to not be in a conference and be able to set yourself an easy schedule year after year. Smart move.

What’s the Irish schedule ranked this year? Somewhere around #60?
