2026 NCAA Football Season

You are arguing with an Arch hater who would love nothing more than to see him fail. I am glad he didn’t give him the satisfaction tonight
arch bots are so pathetic
no one would know get anywhere NEAR the publicity considering HOW LITTLE he has actually done

If he was wearing that gold helmet, you would be singing a different tune, we all know it. You won’t even give him a chance to grow, it is set in your mind that he sucks. It is only his second year starting.

See, I can have a response without insulting you in which you are incapable of. You think the term ‘Arch bots’ is endearing but it is stupid. Not you, but the term

I care very little for Arch either way.

But you are completely correct though.
If Arch were wearing the golden dome, he would be the next coming of Joe Montana in his eyes.
And anyone who disagreed with him about it would be personally attacked.

I have no like/dislike for Arch Manning beyond wanting to see how well he plays.

While going back and watching the game, he seems to have a solid arm and pretty good accuracy.

That said, he played very stiff and he tends to hold on to the ball a lot longer than he should and definitely longer than you can in the NFL.

He made a couple of great throws that were dropped and he got lucky a couple of times as well so they averaged out.

In the end he helped his team win a game though they seemed destined to lose, so you have to respect that.

Eli Manning was never as good as Peyton, but Eli found ways to win games when it mattered.

I have to admit, Manning showed some moxie last night. He doesn't suck, but he's still not all that. Maybe he grew up yesterday and that comeback will help him improve.

Stop it.

Why are you guys so defensive about criticism of Manning? When a player is given the hype he is, guess what? You get the scrutiny.

That game last night was a microcosm of his career. Inconsistency. There was the good Manning. And then there was the bad Manning. He made some nice passes last night and he made som god awful ones.

This likely won't be the last time we see that Manning this year. I am not sure why the outrage in pointing out what is pretty obvious.

Not really.
Not really what? He missed some wide open guys last night. Herbstreit pointed out on a couple of occassions he completely missed wide open WRs as he checked down to a shorter throw.

Let's be clear. Manning is a talent. But the hype around this kid is a sure Heisman finalist, the potential #1 QB taken, etc.

He's not that.............. yet. Will he get there? Maybe. Will he end up being more hype than reality? Maybe.
