The Eagles could trade for a corn dog and some fans would wonder why the Cowboys didn't do it, lol. If other teams were willing to give up more than 2 3rd rounders he would be elsewhere. Teams probably didn't want to pay the contract and the draft capital coming off a down year. Maybe they buy low here, or maybe he's not the player he was we'll see.

Yeah but for a 5th? No big deal. If he does a decent job, OK. If not, no big deal. There's been too much attention paid to it for just a 5th round trade.

Less attention would be paid to it if it was just for depth not for someone we're counting on to start.
