I didn't realize the Cowboys EDGEs were so good that they could afford to draft a 3rd down pass rushing specialist.

Yeah, but the 2 best LBs in the draft were taken before Cowboys could pick one, and I'd rather have Downs over them. But a LB at 23 would have been nice. Lawrence is no slouch though.

I honestly would have rather Rodriguez at this pick or at least a trade to hope he lands in their laps. I am not complaining too much because we need a good LB either way. Just think the value was high.
