Not sure how close this guy is to consensus ......... seems a bit high but I have no idea.

23?????? No. Maybe 15-16.

Many players with 2nd round grades taken in the second half of the 1st round this year.

I've never been clear on what constitutes a 1st round grade. Why do teams only hand out 15 or so per year, when there's 32 1st round players? Sure, there will be a lot of overlap between the talent picked at the bottom of the 1st and at the top of the 2nd. But when your "borderline" zone extends halfway up the round, that's way too long of a border.

A number rating like what NFL.com uses makes it easier to compare prospects from year to year, but it makes no sense to go on a forum and talk about a 6.5 rating vs a 6.3 or whatever, because it's not like any of us have memorized one website's rubric.

Anyway. I'm still not that high on this draft class. I like Armand Membou, but where would he go in last year's draft class? To flip it around, where would Tyler Guyton go in this class? I wouldn't be surprised if he would be getting top 10 draft talk right now.

No buying it either, many have said about 12-15 this year

It's not a matter of teams 'handing out' only 15 1st round grades it's a matter of talent depth. Especially this year, there just aren't 32 players worth of being 1st rounders.

Same thing is true in the 2nd round. There aren't 64 players with 1st or 2nd round grades so players with 3th (or lower) round grades will be drafted towards the end of day 2.

I’m with you…clearly there isn’t a lot of elite players in the 1st this year but there’s still good players.

It’s just more middle / back end 1st round talents this year as opposed to last year.

Your board has been pretty good over the years. You actually liked the Parsons pick while others hated it.
He got 5 correct in the pick em draft contest back when Bland was drafted.

That's putting in work.

I wish I had more time this year.
