#24 Green or Zion and #56 Tyler Smith would you if available ?

If I knew this team was going to be running a lot of zone blocking and reach blocking their C I could get on board with Linderbaum in the 1st and someone like Kinnard in the 2nd.

I still think OL/DL or DL/OL with a pick of LB if they are BPA is the best strategy.

If there is a good combo of OG, OC or OT for the first two picks I would not mind at all.
However I do believe they will go combo of WR and OG in the first two picks not sure which one first.

That of course is if someone else at a different position falls to them that is graded too high to pass on.

@nflmockdraftdatabase.com

Those first 4 picks and Danny Gray I would jump up and down

I don't think so. Unfortunately, the team has too many holes to only invest in one area. If we had signed some free agents, and maybe not subtracted two really good players for no apparent reason, I'd be totally fine with it.

I think we will have open competition at center between Farniok and Tyler Biadazz. I dont see us drafting a center high. Too many other dire needs. I see Ball having a great camp and taking the left guard spot UNLESS we draft a guy in rd 1.

if the board lined up that way...i'd take a green/smith combo.
absolutely i would.
but i wouldn't be surprised if the nfl teams see smith as a 1st rounder.
he might be our pick at 24.
then grab salyer from georgia at 56.
or the other tulsa kid...paul...later.

I'd take that. I'm a big Green fan, and #56 feels about the right range for Tyler Smith.

I like most of those players, but I want no part of Sam Williams…..no thank you to another guy who takes plays off regularly and only gives his all now and then.

What gives you that impression of him?

They let 2 starters go on the OL on one of the top offenses in the leauge.
While I do think they will address the OL.. I think they feel pretty good about somebody on the depth chart and I can't beleive it is only Steele.

I think taking OL with your first 2 picks is a poor stragedy. (strategic tragedy).

@nflmockdraftdatabase.com

Replace Tyler Smith with Jones (DT) and I’m there

I don’t see my Tyler Smith lasting until 56

And even if he does, he’s a full redshirt until Tyron is gone?

Give me Zion/Green in the 1st and then Cam Jurgens in the 2nd and we can talk.

IMO the team has both starters at Tackle, RG and center-with a chance of upgrading.
Left guard is a huge questionmark. I'm sure McGovern will be given another shot along with Matt Farniok but I doubt the team post draft doesn't add more talent to the line.

I see a few guards being mocked at #24, and maybe they are BPA when the pick rolls around but I just don't see the urge to take a guard in the first unless they are of the Zach Martin plug and play and get PB/possible All-Pro level returns.

Obviously the Cowboys did well doing that in the early 2010's, but all we got to show for it is a few division wins and two playoff wins. So, clearly it's not the blame of the OLine for the failures of this team, but there's only so much a stud offensive line can do when you have a poor defense or inconsistent offensive play. So, if there's a close in talent more impact position there I wonder if it would be best to pass on a Zion and try for a Salyer in round 2 or Goedeke/Hayes in round 3(possibly).

I wouldn't double dip at OL unless this was a dead obvious instant upgrade with AP level potential.

Round 1 I'd rather go WR(bleh)/DL/LB then day 2 look at OG prospects. Not a huge fan of Raimann or Smith considering how raw they seem to be and the way this team forces itself to use the draft for instant production.

If going for a project rather try day 2 or 3 for guys like Petit-Frere or Walker or Burford for OTs that need work but have traits that can be developed.

And yes, I'm going off draft profiles and limited clips of some of the above names.
