Unfortunately I couldn't watch the game today, but looking at stats there are a couple things that really stuck out.
1) We the ball 42 times. With a lead for the majority of the game. That sends up a major red flag. I know we weren't averaging much, but to have that many passes in a game with the lead, something is wrong.
2) We averaged less than 3 ypc. When compared to the way we ran the ball the last 2 weeks, this screams motivation IMO. You don't go from 8 ypc to 3 that easily. Backs being hurt probably didn't help, but I assume this was the oline.
3) 10-0 in the 4th quarter. I don't know if we were tired or not, but when I heard we were up 10-7 in the 4th I knew this was a game this team was going to lose. It's cost Dallas for years not having any killer instinct at all, and they got outplayed to lose it again.
4) Kyle frickin Orton was 20/29. The defense couldn't have played that great. If I had to guess, I would assume it was all the screens/quick passes again.
These are just my thoughts...agree/disagree from watching it?
