Twenty-five years ago today, the Cowboys playing at home beat the Eagles on Monday Night Football. The win was important because the Cowboys were only 7-4 and coming off two consecutive losses, including the infamous Leon Lett snow game on Thanksgiving. They wouldn’t lose again all season en route to their fourth Super Bowl title.

I was in Toronto when that game was played. Watched it on the Buffalo ABC affiliate.

Great win, great season.

also the Dolphins who looked playoff bound, were 9-2, lost their last 5 after that Dallas game and missed the playoffs. I had a Dolphin fan friend who brought up that game once or twice until he realized I was going to shut him down every time.

Wow that mullet Keith had going was awesome. Lol those are good memories. Memories of when we were great, Memories of when MNF was actually the game of the week, memories of knowing we were a SB contender. I miss those days. Lol and overall , football was different and better IMO but maybe I'm just old. Lol

That turf was like concrete, especially in Philly. It was a tougher game back then. In the 93 championship game Troy actually ran a series with a concussion....that be unthinkable today

Same with me. My friend was actually at that game and I never heard the end of it. Until the end of the season. Now I never have to hear about it again. That Dolphins season has to be one of the biggest choke jobs in history.

I found a copy of the game.

Wow!!! Al Michaels looks so young. I've been stuck in the 90's all week (revisiting 90's movie and music) so this is the cherry on top. Thanks for posting.

And man, how did we all live with that TV resolution?
