Toronto Argonauts cornerback Qwan’tez Stiggers performed for 29 NFL teams at his personal pro day on Friday.
Per sources, the reigning CFL Most Outstanding Rookie measured in at five-foot-11 and 204 pounds, with a 73 3/8-inch wingspan, 30 7/8-inch arms, and 8 7/8-inch hands. He posted a 36.5-inch vertical jump and 10-foot, eight-inch broad jump while running 4.47 in the forty-yard dash. He also posted a 4.25 short shuttle and 7.20 three-cone on a wet field.
Stiggers’ forty would have tied for the 15th fastest time among cornerbacks at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, while his broad jump would have been 12th. No other players performed at the event, with all the attention directed at the CFL star.
Only the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Cincinnati Bengals failed to send a representative to watch the workout at B.E.S.T. Academy high school in Atlanta, Ga., though the Bengals are reportedly one of 10 teams scheduled to bring the prospect in for a Top 30 visit. The Atlanta Falcons sent two evaluators and at least three NFL DB coaches were in attendance.
