- as much as I hate passing on Elliott and possibly having him go to the Eagles, I like the idea of having a future after Romo better and we know he is one good tackle away from retirement.

- With these two picks we shore up our DL with 2 premier picks and players. Makes our defense better all around.

67. S/CB - Sean Davis
- combo player who wasn't a great CB In college but a good safety. Has the ability to cover and could be used in the same role as Byron Jones was in 2015 as Jones settles down as a S or CB.

101. RB - Paul Perkins
- we love our mid round RBs and I believe he is the best one.
135. WR - Marquez North
- Big WR with speed that we have shown interest in.

Looks good to me. At the very least, the positional format of picks looks pretty accurate as to what I'm thinking will happen. Probably RB 3rd/4th, WR 3rd/4th, DL/DB 1st/2nd. QB wild card.

While I don't dislike your haul of players (I quite like it actually), I do hate the idea of trading down to take a lesser QB prospect. Goff is a much better prospect than Lynch by pretty much every aspect in my eyes, maybe OP disagrees, but if we really wanted a QB out of this draft and Goff is on the board at 4 there shouldn't even be a thought of trading down.

I could live with that...and come back next year with hopefully fewer holes to plug. I want to know which players falls really low that we couldn't have predicted at all. We tend to get a few UDFA that really play well.

I don't think the second round was anything more than a dream. He will go in the first though if Goff is there he could very well be the pick himself. I think the only real trade down option is if tunsil is there
