The opening third downs in the second half were:
3rd and 23
3rd and 14
3rd and 12
We then had a 3rd and 3, where I believe Tyron gave up a sack. At that point the game was over. Those down and distances would be hard for any quarterback. You definitely don't want to put your backup in those positions. We got behind the chains and couldn't convert. It is hard to blame the backup quarterback under those circumstances. If you stay ahead of the chain and convert, it can open up some opportunities to throw down the field. Of course the other factor was the defense was being gashed.
