we were awful the second half and the offense sputtered against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. the run game wasn't effective and we continued to run the same plays over and over and over and they weren't working and we never adjusted. there is no creativity in the offense and that's why once teams see our game plan in the first half, they adjust in 2nd half and we are ineffective.

the second half, once again was bad. we had two solid wins, against two crappy teams. struggled mightily against better teams and Oakland is slightly better than average and we struggled and lets face it. we got lucky

We always struggle when we can’t run
Hopefully zele coming back will fix that problem

...the Oline broke down again or communication did. Blitzers coming from all sides, they couldn't pick up. Couple that with WR's not getting open or dropping balls. Not a good turnout.

Hey..

we have yet to beat a team with a winning record.

Seattle will tell us what's up with that.

We beat the Chiefs .. who beat the Chargers.

Not saying we're a good team yet, but several of our losses this season have been tied to losing players like Elliott, Lee and Smith, though that says more about the coaching staff's lack of preparedness and the team's lack of depth than anything.

The Eagles barely held on against the "crappy" Giants yesterday. It's the NFL.

Forgot about the Chiefs.

One team in 14 so far.

Not much to crow about.

We have more 3 and outs than last season, which leaves the defense on the field too long. Honestly, the defense has shown improvement from their mid season collapse. Lately it seems more rookie mistakes/penalties that give up big plays. I can live with that, because it's part of the growing pains of maturity. What hurt the most is the offense this year, not the defense. I can attest that I sorely underestimated the value of Free and Leary, or more so the perks of depth at O Line. We screwed the pooch big time by not adding more depth on their departure.

what do you expect? its not about getting to playoffs. its about having a chance and playing at high level this time of the year, which we are not. while rams, eagles, minn, NO and Carolina are scoring in bunches and humming, we are struggling and need an index card to mark a first down to have a chance.

at this pace we will be one and done.

We were outscored 17 -10 in the 2nd half by a team fighting for their playoff lives on their home field, so I don't believe this particular narrative applies.

foles was dominant. you couldn't tell wentz wasn't out there. the eagles defense sucked.

other than their game changing interception to setup the score to make it 20-14. Then they blocked a punt to set up the next score to make it 21-20 and then they blocked a fg that would have given the giants the lead to win the game.

they are a good team, someone is going to have to be on the plus side in the turnover ratio to beat them in philly.
