It's ridiculous how stacked DL is projected to be this year. Even if there's a run on them in the mid-to-late first, it will still push down some really talented skill players who should have been taken in the first. Early second is by far the sweet spot in this draft.

If we take Bosa: Billings or a CB.
If we take Ramsey: Spence, Dodd, Ogbah.

My Top 3 of that group would be:

1) Kevin Dodd
2) Kenny Clark
3) Noah Spence - he would be #1 if not for the red flags and the fact that Lawrence/Gregory have me gun shy when it comes to players with drug issues. Of course, he would not be of any danger of falling to the 2nd round if he did not have red flags

Thing with Spence though is he seems to have turned his life around the last couple of years, which you certainly can't say about Gregory.

Dream: Treadwell, Coleman, Doctson. Nkemdiche. I know all are unlikely to be there individually, just hoping one of them is.

More realistic: Dodd, Butler, Clark, Bullard

True. However, all of this stuff happening so recently just has me reluctant to go there. If Jerry picked Spence at 34 I would probably still be very excited. I feel that someone will take Spence in the first round because of what you mentioned about turning his life around. I would be happy if we got Dodd, Clark, or Spence in the 2nd. I would be even happier if we traded down with our 1st round pick for an extra 2nd round pick and got 2 of them. :) Robert Nkemdiche is the one that I won't to really stay away from. Nkemdiche seems like a knuckle head looking for a pay day.
