1. Texans - Trade with ATL
Falcons - Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina
2. Rams - Greg Robinson T Auburn
3. Jaguars - Khalil Mack DE Buffalo
4. Browns - Johnny Manziel QB Texas A&M
5. Raiders - Sammy Watkins WR Clemson
6. Texans - Jake Mathews T Texas A&M
7. Bucaneers - Taylor Lewan T Michigan
8. Vikings - Blake Bortles QB Central Florida
9. Bills - Trade with STL
Rams - Mike Evans WR Texas A&M
10. Lions - Darqueze Dennard CB Michigan State
11. Titans - Justin Gilbert CB Oklahoma State
12. Giants - CJ Mosley Alabama
13. Bills - Ryan Shazier LB Ohio State
14. Bears - Aaron Donald DT Pitt
15. Steelers - Kyle Fuller CB Virginia Tech
16. Dallas Cowboys - Anthony Barr DE UCLA
New starting WDE. Former RB so he has the lower body size and strength, but needs to get stronger on top. Has the length and technique to fight off blocks. Fast off the snap and ability to get around the tackle. Recognizes screen very well.

RD2
Dominique Easely DT Florida

Would be a risky pick, but teaming him up with Melton inside would cure alot of holes this team had. Despite his size Easley has played alot of 1tech at Florida because he is very good against the run. And is very fast off the snap.

RD3
Billy Turner OL North Dakota State

Good guy to develop or just allow to play. Good build, and good in space. Probably a guy you move inside. Either will beat out Mack or be a valuable Sub in '14

RD4
Aaron Murray QB Georgia

Romo isnt getting any younger, but Murray would be a good guy to hold a clip board for a couple yrs. Then lead the Cowboys for the future.

RD5
Mike Davis WR Texas

A guy who can play inside or out. Can stretch the field. Allows TW to move to the #2 WR spot and allows Dez to be moved around. Basically taking TW's spot because TW is taking over Austins role. Best thing about Davis is he doesnt diminish Beasley role as they are two different types of Wrs.

RD7 (CHI)
Ken Bishop DT Northern Illinois

Good small school pickup. Nice guy for a rotation at the 1tech

RD7
J.C Copeland FB LSU

Big strong FB to do the dirty work

RD7(KC)
Bashaud Breeland CB Clemson

Can never have enough CBs, something the team learned the hard way last yr.

RD7(COMP)
Andrew Jackson ILB Western Kentucky

In the mix for backup ST player

RD7(COMP)
IK Enemkpali De Lousiana Tech

Another DE for depth

RD7(COMP)
Jonnathon Harrison C Florida

Guy who can play all 3 interior spots.

Team Starters

QB Tony Romo
RB Demarco Murray
FB JC Copeland
WR Dez Bryant
WR Terrance Williams
TE Jason Witten
LT Tyron Smith
LG Ron Leary
C Travis Fredrick
RG Mackenzey Bernadeau
RT Doug Free

WDE Anthony Barr
1tech Dominique Easley
3tech Henry Melton
SDE Tyrone Crawford/George Selvie
WLB Bruce Carter
ILB Sean Lee
SLB Davonte Hollomon
LCB Brandon Carr
RCB Morris Claiborne
S Barry Church
S JJ Wilcox

I would take that in a heartbeat.

I usually have Dallas trading up into the 6th. But thats more of my personal preference for Ben Gardner. But i think this team needs alot of depth. Players to develop and get some exp. This team is really young after Romo, Witten and Free. So these players already on the team are the guy were are most likely going to see for the next few yrs. Build your depth incase of injuries as we have seen the past 2 yrs.

I agree. I see a lot of those players contributing their first year and I've always liked Murray.

This is a very good draft man.

Realistic too.

I would still sign Davin Joseph. Our o-line would have a lot of talent and quality depth.

If Spencer is healthy and will play on a reasonable contract I would sign him too. That d-line will have also a lot of talent and serious depth across the board.

I compied this one with Rankings, visits, and rumors and reporters from the dallas area. As they have the most insight to the team.

I will say i can see Scott Crichton in RD2 also, and Crawford playing inside at the 1tech

Another awesome option.

With Selvie and Mincey backing the 1st and 2nd rounders up. Very talented pass rushers with starting quality depth.

Can still look at bringing Spencer back if his health and contract demands check in positive.

While i dont like the idea of bringing Spencer back, i can see that option too.

Dallas still has 4mil+ in cap and has another 5.5 mil coming in june. IF spencer is healthy i see him costing a team around 2.5 mil atleast. A team is going to pay more then the minimum for him. Dallas could be saving their dollars for him.

I also think in this draft that Eric Ebron goes to the Bills, Giants or possibly Lions also.

So he's probably going in the top 15.

I totally agree.

If Spencer is healthy that's a guy that can get 10 sacks a year and is also very good against the run.

For $2.5 million per I like having him around as the 2nd or 3rd DE with a Barr, Crichton, Selvie and Mincey rotation or just Barr, Selvie and Mincey rotation.

Alot of DE options that can get to the QB like the Giants used to have in their SB years.

Then to have Melton, Easley, McClain, Crawford, Bass and Hayden who we could cut as a DT rotation we are set talent wise and depth wise.

Talk about both lines being fixed.

We'll probably still need a ball hawking safety but when don't we?

Otherwise this team looks solid and young all around.

I dont think Dallas is ready to move on from Wilcox and Heath. Think theyre willing to go with them this yr.

Good draft LM
My 2 regrets would be not taking ward in rd 2 and not taking Brandon Thomas in rd 5 to red shirt him
If Thomas is available in rd 5 I would trade my 4th next year to get him because he can start at RT next year

I like Ward but IMO if you improve the DL with players who are able to get pressure you improve your secondary play. The longer they have to cover IDC who you have back there they are toast in todays NFL.

Mike Davis in the 5th i can see, but i can also see alot of other payers taken there. Then a Fa WR after the draft wil be alot cheaper.

Danario Alexander
Santonio Holmes
Robert Meachem
Earl Bennett

These guys are all available and some more will be cut after the draft.

First 3 picks are perfect and exactly what I've been mocking recently. Hopefully it actually falls that way.

I won't be a broken record and just say I wouldn't take Murray in the 4th

Davis is ok, I guess. Wouldn't have a problem with the pick but I hope a better WR falls to us. There's so much depth at WR this year that its impossible to predict who will or won't be available.

Love the Bishop pick and think he could make the roster over a guy like Hayden

Have you checked out Marquis Flowers from Arizona at all? I think he would be a good depth guy at LB for us over a limited guy like Jackson. Flowers reminds me a ton of Holloman. Both rangey athletes who played both S and LB in college.

Good job overall though.

Nice draft.

Good players and fits.

Breeland is long gone by the 7th, btw.

Havent but ill give him a look

With the amount of youth Dallas has at WR i wouldnt be suprised to see Dallas pluck a vet from FA after the draft. I expect to see more of Escobar this yr too. He creates too many mismatches to keep him on the bench.

It would be a huge mistake for the Cowboys to let the Spencer signing have any effect on the draft. It's still about 50-50 that he ever plays, less by some estimates.

If it was 50-50 then they wouldnt have even signed him. Clearly they know about his status. I wouldnt even gripe about Easley being the pick without Spencer. Selvie and Crawford playing the SDE. Sooner or later you have to find out what Crawford is in this new 4-3 defense
