3-0 was the worst thing

The dominating beginning to this season set us up for this very disappointing stretch. Fans begun believing this was a Super Bowl caliber team. That all of our weaknesses on offense had been resolved with a new OC that appeared to have all the answers dialing up a #1 offense and MVP like QB performance.

Then the stiffer opponents set in and reality begin to surface. And possibly the players bought into the hype the media and fans were churning out. Even after losing 2 tough games we had hoped to win at least one we were still believing the next one against another bottom feeder we wouldn’t even need to show up.

Some of us warned that this was still a NFL team and on Any Given Sunday still applies. And throw in some key injuries on offense and return of their young stud QB with a much better defense than our early walk in the parks , all of a sudden we were in a fight for our lives.

The good news is the NFL changes from week to week. Your next game can still change your outlook and where you’re headed. Everything we want is still in front of us to win division if we can win this one.

Hopefully we’ll return some key starters and stop the bleeding taking lead in division. And return some confidence and momentum heading into our bye. This was the game we’ve had penciled in all along that we needed to win despite how these others went.

Dang it, Greg, I went out and reserved a hotel in Miami after those impressive wins over Washington and Miami. Are you telling me I wasted my money?

I think some of our injured players could have played but they thought this game was easier than the last 2. Every team that plays us is gonna play like it’s the SB. We can’t get out of our own way. Some of these problems can be fixed. But after this loss something seems to be going on internally. Something maybe between the players and staff. I am thinking JG is starting to lose these players. I think he has taken back some control of the Offense.. Romo said the Offense used in the jets game had JG fingerprints all over it.

I was concerned early on as well . But if they’d quit we wouldn’t have mounted the attempted comeback we did .

And remember this is still Garretts offense. Moore is just calling the plays. I thought it also had some resemblance in first 3 games.

I think the first few games were easy games and JG let Moore do more of his thing. As the teams got harder JG stepped in and wanted more of his base Offense used. He needs to let Moore use more of his stuff. But it JG job to lose.

Anybody who was fooled by this team beating the worst of the worst deserves all the misery they get. The defense has also been garbage outside of the Saints game.

SOME fans, not all fans. I picked the New Orleans game over any remaining Arlington based game for my annual trip to see the team in person because I wanted to determine for myself once and for all if the team was for real.

The offense's execution 'looked' efficient enough the first three weeks but would things hold true within a hostile environment versus a 'desperate' but otherwise very good defense? That was a question I could only answer for myself by seeing them perform in person before I could firmly label them a Super Bowl caliber contender. Or a Super Bowl pretender.

September 29th started my head shaking so badly that my neck has begun to hurt on Sundays. So far this season, this team has 'look like Tarzan but act like Jane' written all over it.

I can see the fans getting caught up in 3-0, but a team that fought and clawed to get into the playoffs last year, only to be embarrassed in a divisional game, can't let that happen. I think they are just getting challenged at the LOS and those players that look really good vs inferior competition are not great.

They did remain relatively healthy last year and benefited from playing some teams in critical games with numerous injuries. The Cowboys are now the walking wounded and the results are less than stellar.

I’m not sure that makes sense Jason steps in after all of the early success.

Right

Our key injuries to starters offensively is taking a toll. I’m not sure why it isn’t more of the talking points? Hopefully they’ll return this Sunday.

Yea, too many fans felt after 3-0 we were a legit SB contender.

It looks like 9 or 10 wins will be enough to win this division. We won’t be near home field advantage. A lot of football left to be played. Rams at 3-3 not many are talking about . Now 49ers look like top team. Packers and Saints keep winning.

Like I said, it changes every week. You’re only as good as your last or next game.

Tell it to the Homers here who we're selling once again "Rico" dreams and Kamara II = Pollard.......oh Jerry no wonder you get away with the BS you're selling year in and year out!

Some teams can handle a 3-0 start..........a Jason Garrett coached team cannot which explains why back to back winning seasons don't happen.
