With the extra 1st picked up in the Harvin trade the Vikings send us 25 and 83 for #18
#25- Jonathan Cyprien S FIU- Not a whole lot Cyprien can't do from the safety position. Good size and speed and a big hitter who knows how to wrap up, not just use his shoulder. Also plays a very good deep zone and has the hands and ball skills to make plays on the ball in the air.
#47- Dallas Thomas OG Tennessee - Started 25 games at LT in the SEC, but was moved to LG his senior year where he projects well in the NFL. Big man with good arm length and his foot speed is very good as a guard. Plug him in at LG right away and slide Livings over to RG where he belongs.
#80- Bennie Logan DT LSU- Not the flashy pass rushing DT, but I see Logan as a good 1 Tech in Kiffin's scheme. 310 LBs with 34" arms and put up 30 bench reps, he is going to occupy a lot of blockers and stuff the run.
#83- Christine Michael RB Texas A&M- A stout 220 lbs to combine with elite quickness and athleticism. Michael is a wrecking ball between the tackles. Great for short yardage and goal line situations. Would make a very good complimentary back to Murray
#111- David Quessenberry OT/OG San Diego State- Needs to add some weight, but he has the height, arm length, and hand size to project as a OT in the NFL. Bit of a project but a lot of upside if given time to develop. Also, has the ability to slide inside to OG and I've even seen some say he could play C.
#144- Aaron Mellette WR Elon- Small school stud with elite size and adequate speed. The big outside WR that we lack outside of Dez. Obvious competition questions but impressed at the senior bowl against D1 CB's. Could be a steal.
#175- Quanterus Smith DE Western Kentucky- Great speed pass rusher that abused Fluker earlier this year. Had the most sacks in the nation before tearing his ACL this year. Probably a redshirt type of player, but as a 6th round pick the potential is there to be an NFL DE if he can get healthy and add some good weight.
