PFN Simulation-made two trades

Jax 33 & 65 for 24
NE 130 for 3 late rd picks

33-Mafe Edge Minnesota (Shasheroo made a strong argument that he is a real riser)
56-Pickens WR Georgia (Outside receiver so Lamb can still play more in the slot)
65-Ingram G LSU (plug and play LG starter)
88-Ruckert TE Ohio State (some believe has the potential to be the best in the class)
129-Chenal LB Wisconsin (one of my pet cats)
130-Ridgeway NT Arkansas (a legitimate two down nose tackle)
167-Haskins RB Michigan (some insurance for Zeke)

i'd buy that.

Love the results of the draft. Not big on drafting for potential with the 1st in Mafe but every other pick is a home run.

Overall good draft but I'm not that high on Mafe. I know he'll get overdrafted, likely in the 1st, but he's going to require a ton of work.

Fortunately for us, that’s Dan Quinn’s specialty.

It wouldn't surprise me if they do not take an Edge, unless one falls in their laps. Everything is pointing to OL, WR, TE and just Linebacker on defense. I could certainly be wrong, but the team usually telegraphs which positions they are targeting. We will have an even better idea when those 30 visits start to be leaked.

Going back to Mafe, in my opinion, he is in that 2nd tier after the top 6, but with the Obajo injury, might be apart of that group. He is more of a rush specialist and is a liability against the run, but like corner you draft him to rush.

fwiw
in real world, to get Jax's 33 and 65, Dallas for sure would need to give up 24, 129. and 130...minimum

But I get it; the mock simulators let us get way more than we would in trades.

all in good fun

That was the deal presented by the simulation.
I get it. Mock simulators always let us get way more than what really happens.
it makes it more fun, even if it is unrealistic. It's the problem with posing them, because it never has nor will happen.

Not your fault...just taking what it gives you.

Mafe is a good long play. He needs work, but he walks in the door as an upgrade over Basham, and would probably play 400 snaps next year. He has the potential to be a 12+ sack guy

Even with the offensive lean, I think edge could have moved up their list. They thought they had Gregory long term. Now they dont, and they didnt replace him long term.

If they dont draft an edge in the first and Ojabo drop into the 40's, I can see them being aggressive
