This is what I'm wanting as of right now with Hardy and Robinson not signed to a contract.

1.) Jared Goff QB, California- With all the talk of either the Titans or Chargers trading down to a QB needy team, I'm going off Wentz being taken before our pick. I still love Goff tho. He has all the intangibles to be a franchise QB. Still not ready to be a starter right away though. Needs to sit at least a couple years to continue development but he should have everything he needs on offense to succeed when he is ready to start.

2.) Jonathan Bullard DE, Florida- One of my favorite players in this years draft. A player Rod would absolutely love to coach. Can play him at all 4 spots on the defensive line but i would rather keep him at left defensive end and kick him inside on 3rd downs.

3.) Karl Joseph SS, West Virginia- Another one of my favorite players in this years draft. can hit like a linebacker and cover like a corner. not sure if he actually makes it here but with Joseph being injured and not being the prototypical size for SS is what I'm hoping pushes him to our 3rd round pick.

4.) Maliek Collins DT, Nebraska- We cant come out of this draft without at least 2 defensive linemen. Collins Is a perfect 3tech for Marinelli scheme. More of a pass rushing specialist then an all around player. Throw him in the rotation.

4C.) Eric Murray CB, Minnesota- Good zone corner who can cover on the outside if needed to. Good in run support as well.

6.) Keith Marshall RB, Georgia- After signing Morris i can see us targeting a late round back like Marshall. especially after his 40 yard dash. Marshall has the potential to be a big time player if the coaching staff can help him reach his potential. Best fit is a zone blocking team.

6C.) Nick Kwiatkoski ILB, West Virginia- Back up inside linebacker and potentially McClain's replacement at MIKE.

6C.) Jordan Walsh OG/C, Iowa- Bernadeau's replacement as our backup guard and center.

6C.) Demarcus Robinson WR, Florida- My risk player on my mock. Has Top 50 Talent but his off field issues and attitude is what will push him here. Other options would be taking another slow possession type receiver who will be no better then Devin Street. low risk/high reward player. He is either off the team after a year or we have T Williams replacement as our #2 receiver.

I'd prefer Wentz over Goff, but I would be most pleased with this outcome.

But because it's Jerry, it won't happen.

I'm fine with that draft as long as Goff wins more than he did at UCLA. I know a team can have down years, but if you're that great a QB to be selected #4 in the first round, you should have made a difference on your college team. His team lost lots of games throughout his career.

Don't think Karl Joseph will ever see the 3rd Round. My thoughts are in the top 10 of the 2nd Round. Probably one of the top 5 Secondary Players in this Draft.

Man i wish our draft fell like this. I honestly would reach and take Joseph in the 2nd. Put him and Jones at Safety and we're set for a decade. I dont want to see Church or Wilcox on the field anymore lol

He has lost a lot, but Cal simply is a bad team. Going up against Oregon, Stanford, USC and UCLA every year with the players Cal had, even Joe Montana couldn't save them. He probably took a 3 win team to a 7 win team and a Bowl win.

Not taking him because his team wasn't top 10 calibre is not a good reason to pass on him. A bigger concern for me regarding Goff was the hits he took. He was sacked a lot. In fact, he was beaten up. But again, that was a function of a poor offensive line going up against some pretty good d-lines.

His record is 0-0 while playing for UCLA. So now what's your opinion? :p

The fact that he was hit as much as he was and still performed at such a high level is a plus to me. He wasn't gun shy, didn't get hurt even on a small frame and still improved every year. As much as he was abused there, he could have went the other direction like Hackenburg. The fact he didn't shows both mental and physical toughness in my book.

Like everyone but Robinson. He is talented but has a 10 cent brain.

Love your 1st, 3rd, and first 6th round picks.

Also, if you're drafting 2 Mountaineers you're doing it wrong.

Its why i put him with our last pick if he last till it. He is the definition of low risk/high reward player. Cut him anytime if he is looking to be nothing but trouble.

possibly. its more of a wish pick then i expect him to be their but their a ton of solid day 2 safety's in this years draft. We should be able to walk away with one.
