Remaining Free agent signings- as usual we will eventually rework a contract or 2 to sign a few cheap players left to 1 year deals.
Mason Cole- 73 career starts at OC. Competes with Hoffman for starter…and likely wins
Teair Tart- DT that started for a stout Titans run D for 2 years under Vrabel. Provides depth to Mazi.
Shaq Lawson- Experienced vet that can play a similar role as Armstrong
Jerry Jacobs- 26 year old CB that started 29 games in 3 years for Detroit. Decent depth outside CB.

24- Chop Robinson DE Penn State- If Chop falls as many seem to be predicting you run the card in without thinking. He’s an elite level talent with untapped potential at an extremely important position. Lazy people will just look at the stat sheet and see an unimpressive amount of sacks, but if you watched him play you would know he had an impact on every game he was on the field. His speed and ability to keep a low pad level makes it nearly impossible for OT’s to contain him. He lived in the backfield. Can also be dropped in coverage and can hold his own vs the run.

56- Jaylen Wright RB Tennessee- RB with great size and elite athletic ability. Shows the ability to beat defenders with both power and speed/agility. Fumbled a little more than you’d like so that needs to be cleaned up, but otherwise a plug and play pro bowl level talent.

87- Dominick Puni OL Kansas- Listed as OL because he played both LT and G in college and also showed intriguing ability at OC at the Sr bowl. I think he will be best as a LG where excellent run blocking and athletic ability to get to the 2nd level will shine. Needs to work on pad level and not letting defenders get under him, but has all the tools you’re looking for in a starting OG.

**Trade 5th(174=21.8) and 2025 4th(roughy=27) to SF for 1st of their 3 4th’s(124=48)**
124- Javon Baker WR UCF- Former 4 star Alabama recruit that thrived once transferring to UFC and getting to start. Strong frame and isn’t afraid to get physical, frequently breaking tackles for YAC. Has a great ability to track the ball and make tough contested catches, some real circus grabs on his resume. Does suffer from the occasional focus drop, but otherwise is a good route runner that can make tough contested catches down the field.

216- Edefuan Ulofoshio LB Washington- Former walk-on that is a tough hard nosed line backer. Very solid wrap up tackler that can deliver a punch and isn’t afraid to take on blocks. Has an injury history and doesn’t always play with the best instincts but there’s enough traits to think he can stick as a solid backup.

233- Dylan Laube RB/Slot New Hampshire- small school scatback with legit athleticism and good hands that could eventually fill all 3 roles of RB3/WR5/KR.

234- Jontrey Hunter LB Georgia State- Athletic LB with good size. Practice squad stash to see if the football instincts can catch up to the natural ability.

Well care to elaborate?
Free agents add nothing IMO. The Cowboys will absolutely go with Hoffman if they don’t draft a Center. It’s supports their philosophy and belief that they are excellent finding guys on a minimum contract.

Robinson has an amazing get off but does nothing else. No plan or repetiore. 24 is high for him.

Any RB at 56 is high IMO.

Puni feels high.

I like the Baker move.

I'm not sure what to make of Robinson. Lance has him rated as a top 10 player but his stats are terrible.
Not too many high on Carl Davis but when I focused on him rewatching the games he looked pretty stout in the middle.
I wonder if they've talked to Wright he has some similarities to Achane and Gibbs
Baker and Puni are good picks as well.

I'm a Penn Stater and Chop is over rated IMHO. He seems to be one of those guys that looks amazing but doesn't really do anything.

I'm so-so on Chop ... but like the middle with Wright, Puni, Baker. Nice overall.

I like the Wright kid....kinda getting Julius Jones feeling about him. Don't think he makes it to our 3rd.
