16 DT AARON DONALD PITTSBURGH
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-1 / 285 LBS:
STRENGTHS: Comes off the snap like he's shot out of a cannon. His first step routinely beats opponents for immediate pressures. Has an effective arm-over swim move, though he doesn't use this often enough. His stature gives Donald the leverage advantage which he uses well to get under the pads of opponents and drive them into the backfield on bull-rushes.

WEAKNESSES: As with most undersized pass-rushers, when Donald's burst is contained his short arms limit his effectiveness. Donald keeps his legs churning and plays with effort, but he can get caught up in the hand-to-hand combat.

47 OT MORGAN MOSES VIRGINIA
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-6 / 314 LBS:
POSITIVES: Ideal length and proportion throughout for an NFL offensive tackle. Does a good job of exhibiting patience off the snap as he routinely establishes width and good bend in his base to either absorb or mirror his opponent in pass protection. Makes good use of his long arms by extending and punching to keep defenders off his frame. Displays a fluid, consistent kick-slide when asked to track and dictate a speed rusher around the edge.

Exhibits a strong first step and impressive burst for his size, when asked to fire through to the second level as a run blocker. Powerful hands to latch and steer against opponents of all sizes. Does a good job sustaining effort and contact to the whistle, and makes a concerted attempt to drive his opponent off the block rather than simply occupying him. Impressive lower-half flexibility and anchoring strength when absorbing a bull-rush.

NEGATIVES: Lacks the ability to stop and start with suddenness or redirect in a short area. Struggles to get low and snap into smaller opponents at the second level, and will over-pursue as a run-blocker. Isn't always decisive in space and lacks commitment at times as a lead blocker on outside runs.

78 DE CHRIS SMITH ARKANSAS
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-1 / 266 LBS:
STRENGTHS: Thickly-built pass-rusher with enough burst, lateral agility and underrated strength to harass opposing quarterbacks off the edge or when used as a stand-up rusher up the middle. Versatile defender who lined up as a LDE, RDE and even as a traditional outside linebacker for the Razorbacks.

Flashes a quick burst off the snap to cross the face of offensive tackles, as well as an effective spin move back inside to counter his exterior speed rush. Uses his natural leverage advantage effectively, showing enough strength to bull rush opponents into the backfield and hold up at the point of attack to handle run defending duties.

Very good closing speed when the ball is near. Strong, wrap-up tackler who brings the ballcarrier to the ground.

WEAKNESSES: Jack of all trades, master of none type who may be viewed as a 'tweener DE/OLB prospect. Highly inconsistent burst off the snap. Too often is the last defender off the ball when rushing out of a three-point stance. Even when he beats tackles initially, Smith tops-out quickly and shows only average flexibility in turning the corner to close.

119 RB CHARLES SIMS WVU
HEIGHT/WEIGHT:
6-0 / 214 LBS:
STRENGTHS: Possesses a high-cut frame, which gives him an unusual torso for the running back position. His size belies impressive quickness and acceleration, making him a tough target for would-be tacklers. Presses the hole before making decisive cuts with a strong plant foot to burst through the crease. Shows good vision and beautiful acceleration to speed up in a hurry.

Good receiver with excellent hand-eye coordination who caught a team-high 45 passes in 2013. Frequently targeted on screens and quick passes to the flat. Can split out wide and put defensive backs on their heels with a hesitation move off the snap. Shows good burst and understanding of route concepts. Can accelerate to create separation and has the leaping ability to make catches in traffic.

Reliable pass blocker who shows good recognition skills and courage in taking on hard-charging pass-rushers.

WEAKNESSES:
Runs with some tightness and lacks natural bend. Sims is tough and physical but doesn't have an ideal body type for the position, running too tall at times with inconsistent pad level and ball security.

158 QB AARON MURRAY GEORGIA
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-1 / 210 LBS:
STRENGTHS: As one might expect given his playing time, Murray does many of the little things well. He has a quick set-up and delivery. He throws a tight spiral and is creative in the pocket, showing the ability to slide and re-set, as well as deliver passes from a variety of arm slots. He throws deep passes with velocity and good trajectory and can attack down the seam with excellent touch, as well. He's starred in a pro-style offense for four seasons against elite competition and showed the mettle under fire as a senior to handle the leadership duties expected of a franchise field general.

WEAKNESSES: While there are plenty of positives to note when discussing Murray, one obvious concern is his lack of preferred size. The success of Drew Brees and Russell Wilson proves that shorter quarterbacks can be successful in the NFL. The greatest concern with short quarterbacks is their ability to see beyond the behemoths at the line of scrimmage and too many of Murray's passes over his career have been knocked down at the line of scrimmage. Durability is also an added concern with smaller quarterbacks. Brees and Wilson each also possess stouter frames than Murray. He's also coming off of the torn ACL, which obviously will require medical clearance at the Combine.

229 DE ETHAN WESTBROOKS WEST TEXAS A&M
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-4 / 267 LBS
STRENGTHS: Looks and plays bigger than his size. Possesses broad shoulders, long arms and the frame to handle an additional 10 pounds of muscle without a significant loss of quickness. Moved around the defensive line to create mismatches for the Buffs, logging time on the nose, three tech DT and as a traditional 7-tech defensive end. Physical and highly aggressive. Good initial quickness. Surprises opponents with his burst to split gaps and flashes upper body explosiveness to rock them on their heels, as well as effective (if rudimentary technique). Good balance and lateral agility to break down and stalk mobile quarterbacks. Flashes impressive acceleration for a man of his size while in pursuit. Could just be scratching the surface of his potential.

WEAKNESSES: Has been able to get by with just his athletic tools to this point and remains quite raw in his technique. Sells out to attack the quarterback, getting fooled by play-action and draws. Doesn't always pursue hard once the ball gets past him. Probably projects best as a RDE in the 4-3 alignment but must learn to use his hands better to rip through would-be blocks, or his speed/power will be controlled. Likely is at least a year or more from significant playing time and there are concerns about his commitment. Plays with a degree of ferocity that too often results in foolish penalties. Sports a heavily tattooed frame (including on his face) and that some will take as a character red-flag.

231 DT SHAMAR STEPHEN Connecticut
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-5 / 309 LBS:
STRENGTHS: Massive defender with the broad shoulders, long arms and powerful leg drive to hold up in the middle as a run-stuffing presence.

Quickly uncoils his arms to jolt blockers at the point of attack, extending his arms to create room to maneuver. Strong and alert enough to locate ballcarriers on either side of him, slipping free or simply reaching out to grab ahold of his opponent for drag-down stops.

Impressive strength and flexibility throughout his core to absorb double-teams, rarely getting pushed off the line of scrimmage. Durable. Played in 46 games over his collegiate career.

WEAKNESSES: Offers little in terms of the pass rush, showing just average initial and lateral quickness to penetrate gaps and limited hand technique. Doesn't get his hands up in passing lanes enough considering his size. Knocked down just one pass in 2013 and only six over his career.

238 S MARQUESTON HUFF WYOMING
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: 5-11 / 200 LBS
STRENGTHS:
Looks the part of an NFL defensive back, showing a smooth build and solid, athletic frame. Helped his cause against top competition at the Senior Bowl, demonstrating light feet, efficient turning motion and fluid acceleration. Played cornerback most of his career before moving to free safety as a senior. Showed his versatility by playing both roles in Mobile. Made an impact on special teams at Wyoming and showed the same ability during practice.

WEAKNESSES:
Tweener traits. Good quickness but gets caught up in his turning motion and doesn't play up to his reported timed speed. Tops out quickly. Inconsistent physicality as a tackler, flashing willingness to leave his feet for big collision. Slips blocks rather than fighting through blocks letting teammates do the dirty work. Doesn't break down on the move. Very small hands (8 1/4 inches) for interception.

248 FB TREY MILLARD OKLAHOMA
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-2 / 247 LBS

251 DE LARRY WEBSTER BLOOMSBURG
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 6-6 / 252 LBS
STRENGTHS: Looks the part with a tall, long frame and the growth potential to get stronger. Has good first step quickness to burst and change directions quickly with flexible ankles. Uses his long arms to make wrap tackles and finish. Has the athleticism and range to cover a large area and make plays in pursuit. Was very productive in his one season of football at the college level and impressed coaches with the way he quickly adapted to the game despite being away from the field for so long. He has a good work ethic and puts in the time to prepare and get better. As the father of an 11-year NFL veteran, he has athletic bloodlines and knows about the NFL process.

WEAKNESSES: Needs to commit himself to the weight room and add bulk to his body. Needs to develop football strength as well, to hold up in the trenches and match up at the next level. His hip movements are a little stiff and he needs to do a better job breaking down in space. Needs to continue to develop his pass rush moves and learn how to better use his hands to protect his body and shed blocks. Will play too tall at times and needs to learn to use better leverage off the snap. Has only one full season of football experience under his belt since high school and lacks ideal experience, doing his damage at the Division II level.

254 WR ERIC WARD TEXAS TECH
HEIGHT/WEIGHT
: 5-11 / 199 LBS
Ward's numbers speak for themselves, but it is combination of size, strength and athleticism that has scouts intrigued. The well-built Ward is a reliable route-runner and hands-catcher and has the toughness to handle playing the slot at the next level.

i would take that draft for sure.

i would pass on eric ward and i am a tech homer. tech had 3 or 4 more gifted WRs last year alone before injuries and grades.

Reverse the rounds you have us taking QB and WR and I'd like it a lot more. This class is so deep that getting an impact WR in the 5th isn't out of the question at all.

Hate the Murray pick, no better way than to waste a pick than to use it on Aaron Murray. As a matter of fact from Murray down I don't like with the exception of Trey Millard

Decent draft.

There are better options for late round DTs than Shamar Stephen, IMO. Marinelli wants pass rush ability even with the 1-tech.
