Glad to see another King fan, curious if you think he projects better at CB or safety for us, I would love pairing him with Jones at safety and just watch them shut down the deep game and get all sorts of INTs.

I want Hunter Henry as much as any of those guys, he's a stud TE and could be the next great Cowboy at the position.

I think he might have the potential to be almost be Witten like (type of player)

I love to get him but taking him in the second

god I could see this board

In 13 games, the junior has posted 67 tackles and 12 passes defended. He’s also tied the single-season school record with eight interceptions this year.

ATLANTA – Iowa’s Desmond King has won the Jim Thorpe Award for the nation’s best defensive back.

The award was presented Thursday night.

King, a junior cornerback from Detroit East English Village, led Iowa with eight interceptions, including one he returned for a touchdown, this season. He is the first Iowa player to win the honor. He became the Big Ten’s seventh winner, tying the Southeastern Conference for the lead.

I could care less as long as we get a shot at the kid

I would be cheering the Henry in the 2nd round selection. I don't care how many 2nd round TE the Cowboys drafted in the past.

Hunter Henry, in my opinion, is the most NFL ready player in the draft. Getting him in the second will be viewed as a steal quickly.

I'd be just as happy with Jake Butt in the third round though. I just really like this draft for TEs, far better than last years.

I don't know how it would be viewed as a steal once they start playing because they refuse to lower Wittens snaps. Both Escobar and Bennett have talent enough to be productive. If we aren't going to use the player, it's the same as drafting a bust. I take no solace in the fact that the scouts hit on a player. If they draft him, it needs to be made clear to Witten that his snaps are going to start trending down. If he's just going to be depth for the next 2-3 years then I'll pass and draft someone who plays.

he is going back to school

He made up his mind? A few days ago I read him saying he's 50-50 on the decision.

EDIT: Reading now, yeah. Haha, Harbaugh must have convinced him. Hate that guy.

To each his own I have this as a low talent TE class(similar to the QB's) with Howard and Engram ahead of Henry.

If we draft Robert Nkemdiche then it will as a 3-tech and he will be sharing snaps with Crawford.knowing this FO and their reluctance to use high draft pick on DTs it would not surpise me if then went somewhere else.

it would not surprise me either - but dam we need some guy that can actually play in the middle
