3.5 earthquake at valley ranch

As a guy who spent 13 or 14 years in California I've gotta say...

Its funny how folks out here respond to earthquakes.

I was in my office with a client and we felt it. It may be old hat to Californians, but for us earthquake newbies it was pretty weird.

Now tornados, those aren't new at all around these parts.

I live about 11 miles from the old stadium site, I didn't feel anything.

I said it in the other thread but basically it felt like somebody slammed the door upstairs...

Haha 3.5? That's Cute! Been through the 6.7 in LA had a 4.5 on Saturday and the countless others. If the ground ain't shaken we start worryin'

I felt it. There have been a few recently. I think there was another one a little later after the first quake.

True story, I've lived in Dallas my entire life and never felt an earthquake here or even heard of one. There's been like half a dozen in the last few months, they're nothing major (my mom lived in California and there was a small one while I was visiting one time). I felt two today and were nothing more than a loud rumble and I could feel the house shaking.

Its pretty odd, people think it s caused by the oil fracking which could be the cause considering I've never felt one in Dallas and they only recently started fracking but who knows

It was caused by the Jones family's butt's simultaneously unpuckering after getting a playoff win.

Somebody needs to educate the Dallas Morning (Fake) News. They've been covering every little tremble as some big news. It's not news at all, really.

A few earthquake facts from the U.S. Geological Society:
How many global earthquakes per year with a 3 to 3.9 richter scale: 130,000
How many global earthquakes per year with a 2 to 2.9 richter scale impact: 1,300,000
