Assumes Cooper/DLaw gone. Gregory, Schultz, Kearse, Gallup and Wilson back. Dax, Penning, London we’re on the board.

1) Nakobe Dean LB
2) Sam Williams DE
3) Ed Ingram OG
4) Calvin Austin III WR
5a) Zyon McCollum CB
5b) Nick Cross S
6) Thayer Mumford G/T

Who has a better career? I’ll say Dean. Penning will get over drafted. Dane sees him going top 10 now I believe.

might want to take a step back and ask yourself why he’s projected as too 19 and Dean is not

Penning will be a very very good OG and can ge a LT in the future. Getting him at 24 is a no brainer IMO

Plenty of players get over hyped and over drafted.

yes they do but I would submit Dean is undersized for an MLB and will not be the same player when he does not have Georgia’s DL in front of him

I’ll take Green Pennington or Davis over Dean any day

Nice job. I like a whole lot of that.

Tried to stay true to the board and where that intersects with need. It seems obvious that Coop and DLaw will be cut and we will try to Keep Gallup, Schultz, Wilson, Kearse and whatever that backup DE from KSU name is…and Hooker too. Usually I take Ingram at our 2nd round pick and he is ranked 70th. He’s a starting LG all day long. He fell to our 3rd. Calvin Austin doesn’t fit the Cowboys bigger WR mold but I think he’d fit great with Lamb, Gallup, Wilson… I had a chance to take that Chattanooga OC/OG but I went the CB instead. I also had a chance to take Parham. I love that freak athlete OC from UVA but it was him or Austin.

That’s probably the one place I’d have gone different. I’d have taken the guard over another corner.

I think they would run to the podium if Penning is there. I just don’t see anyway he falls to us after his combine performance. I really like Dean, but I don’t see a lot of separation from the guys that will be available in round 2.

The CB has freak show measurables. Cole Strange would behind Ingram and Martin and we already have Penn State and Farniok. We save $5m if we cut AB.

Not sure Gregory or Wilson are back. In fact I have heard on the radio by some media-head that both had priced themselves out of Dallas.
With that said, even if Schultz is franchised, where can you put a good TE in there? Dallas needs one, and a dominant 1T as well........

Good draft, but dang Dallas now has figured out how to make more needs than they have picks.

nice haul.
in that scenario,i'd love dean.
love ingram.
2nd rd might be high for williams but i like the player.
love his size.
austin is one of my favorite receivers.
cross is another of those long, tall dbs quinn likes.
thayer is a steal that late.
