I’m one of those fans that could care less about this list. We could have 10 players on it and it means nothing if you can’t win a playoff game.

Assuming Dak and Parsons make the top 50. Possibly even Diggs but I highly doubt it.

What is criminal is having Dak, Parsons, and possibly Diggs higher then Martin. Highly doubt zeke males the list this year. Martin is the best player on offense. Parsons is only one year removed granted a hell of a year.

The NFL Top 100 is being announced in stages, The first set of rankings, Nos. 100-51, was released Aug. 14. Below is what has been revealed of the NFL Top 100 for 2022 to date.

Lamb #95
Lamb made his first Pro Bowl last season. He ranked 16th in the league in receiving yards and now becomes the Cowboys WR1. His numbers and ranking on this list should only go up.

Smith # 92
Smith is a member of the 2010s All-Decade team. His highest ranking on the top 100 list was in 2017, when he peaked at No. 18. Despite not having played a full season since 2015 he’s still receiving much respect from other players

Martin #68
For Martin, this is his sixth consecutive appearance on the list. He is also a former member of the 2010s All-Decade Team like Smith. He is a player that should be in the Hall of Fame when his playing career comes to a close. Hard to imagine there’s 67 players better.

Will be interesting to see who makes top 50.

Thought all of the lists, polls, rankings, and ratings would have been put out before training camp and preseason started...guess Sporting News' intention is to put theirs out after all the others so it will be a topic of discussion close to the season's start.

Zeke, Pollard and Lawrence could only make this list as a bottom 50 in my opinion. Therefore, they didn't

Dak, Diggs, and Parsons are the only ones left and Diggs will probably turn up in the 40's.

I project Parsons going in the teens with Dak in the early 30's.

One hundred names on the list split among 32 teams means the average number of top hundred players for a team is slightly over 3 per team.

If the Cowboys end up with six then they have doubled the average amount of premium talent among NFL teams.
