I chose the past 3 games simply because Vick just came back in week 9 so this gave the best sample to pick from.
This is how our backup has played as compared to our NFC East rivals' starting quarterbacks within the last three games:
Jon Kitna - 61-88 797yds, 6td-1int
Eli Manning- 74-113 810yds, 7td-5int
Donovan McNabb- 64-111 881yds, 4td-5int
Michael Vick- 61-95 809yds, 5td-0int
From these numbers, Kitna has maintained a solid Completion % and had nearly the same exact amount of yards. He is also the 2nd highest TD passer and the 2nd lowest INT thrower. Overall, I think that our backup is playing better than at least two of the opposing QBs.
Great decision by Jerry Jones bringing him in. Brad Johnson would've put up numbers nowhere NEAR this good. I don't think any of the opposing teams' backups could do this well except for possibly Kevin Kolb.
Just a little perspective, I thought it was pretty interesting, hopefully some of you do too.
