After they aquired Quinnen it told me they were ready to get serious about improving the defense and adding Porter furthered that idea but I was never sold on CP being the savior he was being made out to be.

There simply zero hard evidence that he was up to the job of resurrecting one of the worst defenses in the NFL

But I did say that we should/could start to see improvements by weeks 6-8 if his scheme works......some say we are actually regressing and I cant refute that at this point

Yeah it was silly to think he was the savior. I liked the hire and I knew he would struggle just not tot his magnitude. They look worse with better personnel.

Starting to think the best candidate would’ve been an old head coach who isn’t interested in being a head coach.

I've always hated these type of schedule crunches. We used to get screwed with the Thanksgiving game. I guess more teams though now have to deal with it since mid-week is now a norm.

Seriously, International travel and a short week crammed in over 3 games...absurd schedule.

They tried playing 2nd/3rd string players for more snaps.
- An obvious sign that starters were fatigued.

I’m sure it did. Football is hard. No doubt. I didn’t see issues with fatigue. Lack of execution and preparation.

I think that long time consuming drive of almost 11 minutes by the BUCS offense in the first quarter befuddled and frustrated our team as well.

Funny is Gruden has now come out and called for Thursday night games to be ended for same reason.

Funny is non professional athletes thinking they know better about peak performance and when a proven leader with his own business training these athletes is telling you its a problem, you jump to excuse making instead of listening to what's being said.
