$3 million cap exception this season

No idea.... what is it? I think we are like $6 mil under so if that means you can go $3 mil over then no need to. I feel like we aren't done making moves yet though so maybe we could.

No they didn't they are 6 million under the cap so no need to use it.
If the cap extension isn't used then that team can carry it over to next years salray cap. Also next years salary cap has 3 1 million vet extensions on the salary cap. Most teams will carry this over as I don't think many teams used this years extenstion.

The $3M in veteran exemptions were used, because cap money this year can be transferred to next.
The $3M in future cap borrowing was not, because, well, no need to use it.
I think La Canfora's numbers here are fairly accurate, though not exactly.
