Decided to make 3 mocks that are all completely different but all drafts that I would be very happy about. I tried to keep it as realistic as possible so I used mostly the CBS rankings as opposed to fanspeak (Fanspeak tends to be too easy to get crazy drafts.) am interested to see which one of these drafts my fellow cowboy fans would prefer.

Let me know.

Mock Draft #1

Round 1: Todd Gurley RB, Georgia - Is a top 10 player in this draft.. Too good to pass up if he falls to 27

Round 2: Mario Edwars Jr DE, Florida State - Was better 2 years ago than this past year but I think the Cowboys feel like they can get the most out of him.. Could end up being a starting LDE

Round 3: Steven Nelson CB, Oregon State - Competitive player that can play either man or zone and is very good in run support.. Only issue is he doesn't have great size and length

Round 4: Stefon Diggs WR, Maryland - Very high recruit out of high school who was a playmaker in college but couldn't really stay healthy and was inconsistent.

Round 5: Taiwon Jones OLB, Michigan State - Big hitter who could have immediate impact on special teams as well as being a backup SAM linebacker.. Has to potential to eventually be a starter

Round 7: Frank Clark DE, Michigan - Has great upside with a lot of off the field issues.. Should be well worth it if he is here in the 7th

Round 7: Darren Waller WR, Georgia Tech - Great size and athleticism.. Upside is too good to pass up this late in the draft.

Mock Draft #2

Round 1: Owamagbe Odighizuwa DE, UCLA
- Was a toss up for me between him and Preston Smith for this pick but I went with Odighizuwa.. Can be the eventual starter at LDE and him and D Law can start at D-End for a long time to come

Round 2: PJ Williams CB, Florida State - Seems to be falling down the board but if he makes it to the Cowboys pick in the 2nd round I would be really happy.. Has good size and length and can play either man or zone

Round 3: Grady Jarrett DT, Clemson - Lacks size but is a really good pass rusher and uses his quickness to his advantage.. Could rotate in at the 3 technique and be a nickel rusher.

Round 4: Durrell Eskridge FS, Syracuse - Is a bit raw at this point but has the tools to be a true free safety in the NFL if he puts it all together.. Worth the risk this late in the draft.

Round 5: Karlos Williams RB, Florida State - One of my favorite later round players in the entire draft.. Has arguably the best physical tools out of any RB in the entire draft class but is extremely raw.. Hits the hole hard and catches the ball really well out of the backfield.. Think he could be a steal for the Cowboys if Gary Brown can teach him how to run behind this line.. Also has great special teams ability and is a former safety

Round 7: Deontay Greenberry WR, Fresno State - Underclassmen with good size and production.. Definitely worth it in the 7th

Round 7: Julian Wilson CB, Oklahoma - Has traits to be a good corner but hasn't put it together.. Has good upside so I like the value here in the 7th

Mock Draft #3

Round 1: Kevin Johnson CB, Wake Forest
- Best all around CB in the draft IMO.. Could be a day one starter

Round 2: Carl Davis DT, Iowa - Could be the immediate starter at 1 technique.. Hear a lot of noise about him going top 40 but I don't see it.. Think there is a decent chance he is there here in the 2nd.

Round 3: Tre McBride WR, William and Mary - Great route runner, great hands, and great speed.. To me he is a great value in the 3rd.

Round 4: TJ Yeldon RB, Alabama - Yeldon is a complete back that I think could really thrive in our zone blocking scheme.

Round 5: Brandon Bridge QB, South Alabama - Has all the physical tools in the world that you could ever want.. Has the next 2-4 years to sit behind Romo/Weeden and learn the offense and the NFL.. Upside is tremendous and I think worth a look here in the 5th round.

Round 7: Tavaris Barnes DE, Clemson - Strongside DE with some upside.

Round 7: Trent Brown OT, Florida - Great size and length but sloppy technique.. Needs a ton of work but has a ton of upside.

I actually say 1 or 3, I don't think d-line is the way to go in the first.

Definitely #1, however if we go that route we better get Hardy for the DL. Also, would rather have Jarrett in Rd 2 than Mario Edwards.

Both 1 & 2 are solid but have a couple of issues for me. I'd probably go with 2 just because I don't like Edwards in the 2nd at all

Gosh, I'm not sure. 1, I guess because I love Gurley but Mario Edwards is one of my least favorite DL in the whole draft, so while I love the first pick, the second seems like a bust to me (but maybe I'm wrong about him).

In number 2, I really like the 2nd and 3rd round picks but I'm not crazy about OO. Something worries me with him and it is hard for me to put my finger on it although the team will know much better than I on him.

In #3, Kevin Johnson has been a pet cat of mine, so I like him (although I have maintained that I want him in the second round, not at 27) but WR in the 3rd? I hope not.

Anyway, so ... I'm not sure, haha.
