3 Not So Meaningless Games

Not resting anyone vs iggles or commanders. With how un energetic this offense plays im not resting anyone if they lose to iggles. Time for mccarthy to step up help more with bad schemes and get these players motivated

Eagles are playing for the one seed and a week off. I expect them to eat us up with our defensive injuries. We sadly need to really score 30 plus points now to have a chance. Our D line is playing a bit better on run defense, but our pass rush is awful. Decline in D line is obvious since Thanksgiving

We just need one more win to lock up the 5th seed. As a Dak Stan I think losing to Brady will have the Joneses seeing the light on Dak. Then maybe they will at least look at drafting his replacement. It’s time. I was going to wait until the playoffs but Dak is slower then Brady when he scrambles.

the Giants are 8-5-1. If they win out, they will be 11-5-1. If we win only 1 game, we will be 11-6.

We are pretty much locked into the 5 seed no matter what. So, that means the final 3 games are meaningless. It doesn't matter if we enter the playoffs 12-5 or 10-7. The seeding will not change. the smart play here is to give Micah, DLAW, LVE, and Zeke some time off so they can be closer to 100% when the games that matter begin. We also need to audition CBs to get Kelvin Joseph off the field.

I'm 99% sure the cowboys will not do this b/c we rarely do the smart thing. See the play calling at the end of the game yesterday. Who chucks the ball 30 yards downfield to the 3rd WR rather than force the other team to burn their final timeout? Stupid is what stupid does. We are going to play Dak and pad those offensive stats.

Resting a few guys on defense isn't an issue. Offense needs to keep playing. They tend to rust quicker. Giving Zeke and Pollard limited carries and a 2nd half hook for the next few games is just smart football.

For some reason I am thinking 16 game season. If the Giants beat the Vikings they can run the table. I think we need to play San Francisco so we can be exposed. They will kill us. Tampa we might hang around and lose a close game and the Joneses will make excuses to keep the team together.

The Cowboys suck so badly coming off rest games.

I don't think you go full rest except with maybe Parsons, Lawrence and LVE. I think limited snaps and second half hooks is the way to go with some guys like Zeke and Pollard. Dak needs to play the whole games though.

If the team doesn't have " chemistry" by now, they aren't going to find it. What the defense needs right now is health and someone better than Kelvin Joseph.

I think if MM can just reign in our pass happy OC and QB, we have a much better chance of winning close games.

AC, it makes sense on some level to rest players.

But if this team is truly serious about winning playoff games, I actually think what this team needs is to focus on getting better- in fact getting “hot” at the right time. Recent history shows the teams winning playoff games have won something like 4 of last 5 games.

This team has 3 games left. I would try to get better. Otherwise it’s another one and done.

The team is a mess right now. We should have lost to the Texans last week and we just blew a 17 point lead to J-ville yesterday. This team needs a reset b/c if they go into the playoffs like this, its going to be a quick exit.

I am not sure how you teach Dak to make better decisions under pressure? That is not going to happen in the next 3 weeks. You can't teach better health on the DL, and lord knows Kelvin Joseph can't cover a WR.

The team needs a reset. They should be auditioning CBs and letting guys get healthy. If we go into the playoffs beat up with key players nursing injuries, our chances of success go down significantly.

They’re not locked into the 5 seed yet. Giants can finish 11-5-1 or 10-6-1 and Washington could still finish 10-6-1. Those are all better than 10-7.
