3 of Seattle's top 4 CBs all likely OUT...

Fall into a trap?

We make our own and then test them on ourselves.

Matt Hasselbeck played all 60 minutes of a meaningless game and franchise tailback Shaun Alexander carried 28 times in a meaningless game and Mike Holmgren coached like he wanted to win this meaningless game more than he wants to win the next one.

How will Holmgren replace those CBs between today and Sunday?

"I don't know," he said.

Holmgren, to his credit, was as resolutely clueless after the game as he was during it.

Many head coaches do dumb things.
Why was Brees playing game 16 last year against the Broncos?
Why was Romo not playing game 16 last year against the Rams?

Even with their injuries, the birds will win big against us. This hideous defensive unit couldn't stop a NCAA squad right now.

We have no leadership on offense or defense.

Munchis....Out!!!!

Here's a thought!

Sit Romo and start Bledsoe. Bribe the Commish to push back the trading deadline and switch Tnew out with Ty Law tomorrow.

Then it's a Ring, guaranteed!

And we would be wise to exploit this almost every down.

In all honesty, I'm worried about our defense more than our offense.

If our OL don't play any better, it won't matter anyway.

We'd be unstoppable with Ty Law and Bledsoe in the lineup....both former Patriots that know how to win championships.

Ware should never again friggin drop back into coverage. This stupid friggin' coaching staff complains of no friggin' pass rush and they send friggin Charles Haley junior into coverage.

Hey!

Do you want Shawn Merriman?

Or a "complete linebacker?" ;)

I don't know.

But his last response is 'telling'. :lmao:

I want what I saw yesterday. A full-time pass-rushing DE. It's time to start using players to their strengths (the only thing I'd like to see different out of #94 is a little more attitude. Time to start smackin' people around)

Wouldn't hurt to let JJ run the way HE wants to either. What's the friggin' difference? The OL can't block anyways.

Happy New year LTN.

Don't stop now, you are on a roll.

How about we take Roy Williams out of coverage also? Play him to his strength. How about letting Newman (one of the fastest CB) play bump and run man to man at least once in a game?

If a horse is blind, you sell the stength.... How hard is that? And if TO is going to be on the team, and you are going to put up with the chirping, how about get him the ball early and often. Else, cut him, deactivate him and move on. If you are going to take the field, you maybe should try to win the game. Now Terry Glen's quote makes more sense. "Sometimes, I dont' think we are trying to win."

We have all of these weapons, yet we harness them.

Yeah, this is the problem. I think TO and Glenn are going to have a field day with this. Our defense already sucks, and now it's worse.

Trufant is the main loss. He was having a very good season. It's a shame.

Jennings was our first round draft pick this year. He's very fast, but he's also small and undersized. Babineaux weighs like 25 pounds more than him.

It's not a HUGE loss. But it's something to think about.

I predict the final score of this game will be in 30's for both teams.

Worse news: all four of our starters in the secondary will be playing.
