1. The sideline scrum. Nobody really came to Overshown defense after he hit Dart. That speaks volumes to me. This was supposed to be a war but Dallas thought they were slapboxing.

2. Ceedee and gp nonstop begging for calls. Neither of you are top 5 receivers. Go get the ball and stop crying after every target.

3. lastly. The tackle at the end of the game when Newsome got trucked by Javonte. You will NEVER see a Cowboy corner come up to hit a running back like that. Not even in a playoff game. I have to see it to believe it. They wanted it way more than Dallas.

The mental toughness and to a lesser extent physical toughness is still nowhere to be found on the team. They can't change that by looking at film either.

That's not how football works brother.
I'm generally more than happy to defend a teammate or see others do so. BUT sometimes letting them deal with the repercussions of bad\cheapshot decisions on their own is the best way for them to learn.

I’d chalk most of this up to not allowing starters to play in the preseason. Christian Parker’s scheme and inability to adjust is what really concerns me.

It’s been like that forever with the cowboys. Before Schotty, before and during Parcells. That started when Deion arrived. We used to have dogs in our secondary with James Washington Bates, and Martin. Cornerback is a dual position on most of the other contending teams(tackling and coverage). That’s why I said the culture will never change until everybody commits at all levels. Parcells used to stare down corners when they took business decision and then he brought in his own dogs like Aaron Glenn. I didn’t like that signing at first because I thought he was too small but he played with a lot of heart and physicality for someone 5’8

Barham should have been starting over Overshown in this game. Overshown is a 3 down LB.

Love these subtle observations.

How, they were swallowed up by the entire NYG sideline?

is it me or did we all miss how the OC was like "Pickens and Lamb involved? Nah bro, give me some Ford and the Tight ends"

there are no observations, the night was Harbargh bullies the Cowboys and the Cowboys try to be to smart" thats it. Anaylsis of the Cowboys "GUTLESS" Anaylsis of the Giants "Bullies"

Man I don't care who was on the sideline. If your so called brother is over there you run over there knocking whoever over to get your guy. Giants punked them. It looked like one of those animal documentaries. They were the lions and we were........whatever else

They did. They were broken up and highly outnumbered. You'd rather we get MORE than 85 yards in penalties?
That's dumb.

Yes they wanted it more

Overshown is never healthy

A culture reset is not what a clown like Shotty is unable to doing over a year, it is what a real HC like Harbaugh did in one off season

We have incompetent clowns at the 3 most important positions, GM, HC and QB

We might beat the Commodes but after that Ravens and Texans are gonna beat us up

Number two is what has always bothered me about Ceedee and (now, and to a lesser extent) Pickens. It seems like every time there is the slightest contention for the ball, and they don't catch it, they start point at the ref, throwing their hands out wide with a shrug, or start pulling on their hands/jerseys trying to mimic what they think was done to them. They are often correct. And almost all WRs do those things sometimes. But the frequency with which the two of them do it feels like an indication of something that might need to be addressed (if it can be). Sometimes you don't make the catch. Sometimes the refs miss a call. Obviously, you want them to take up for themselves if they're being mauled and it isn't being called, but they plead to the refs A LOT...to the point where it starts to seem like a built-in excuse for dropped passes or something.

Ferguson has really started to do it a lot as well. That's part of why it is standing out and starting to concern me a little. It's hard to put into words, but I wish there a little more of the "I'll seen you again soon...and it'll turn out differently" mentality instead of the "I didn't catch the ball so, surely, I must have been fouled" type reaction. Again, there are times and places for arguing your case and protesting a little. But it seems like that's being taken way too far, and at the expense of the mindset to just get more determined/motivated for the next target. (Again...it SEEMS like it. I have no idea what is going on in the heads of the Lamb/Pickens/Ferguson, or whoever. And it is quite possible they are being dramatic and becoming more determined at the same time.)
