My comfort level with the defense from CP all the way down the roster is light years better than it was last year.

Obviously Caleb is in a class of his own and should not be compared with other humans, but yeah I am very, very happy to have Q here,

I’d have probably dealt him for Parsons straight up quite honestly….I mean the value wouldn’t have added up, I get that….but this team needed a top DT more than an edge guy, elite or not.

IMO there are way more rotational rushers around than top end DTs.

Plus I was just completely done with being so soft up the gut.

Basically, your edge rushers are rendered ineffective way too often if your DTs suck. And ours did.

You are much better off w/ top DTs and average edge rushers than vice versa.

Look at the super bowl participants for example:

SEA: dominant disruptive interior, average edge
NE: dominant disruptive interior, average edge

This is what I see all the time.

Chris Jones, Jalen Carter, Milton Williams, Leonard Williams. Most of the time, the super bowlers have dominant interior play. Just a clear fact.

No, that would've been a massive mistake. Not because he's not good, because paying any player that much derails your team. You must look at value. It's OK for fans to scream this, but your GM has to consider all aspects if he wants to contend for playoff success. Micah was not the way.
