I would have taken Warford in the second round since you have him slipping to the third.

If THAT is what 6 hours of your work came up with, you should have put in 6 weeks.
That is harsh, Rack.

I'd have to agree. Mock drafts rarely line up with the final product, but they provide us with fodder for thought. I appreciate the effort and it gives us something to compare our efforts. Having said that, as much as I like the Cowboys' picks, the trades are a stretch. It does make one wonder about Arizona's plans for a QB. I think they should give us a 1st and a second for ...........

If the draft fell this way and I was picking for Dallas, I would end up with:

1) Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
2) Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas State
3) Brian Schwenke, C, California

Sylvester Williams in the 3rd would be tempting, just because he's rated so much higher than that... but with Sheldon Richardson already on board, it would be redundant.

I appreciate the feedback. I just don't think that Schwenke will do much to improve the state of the OL. My draft gives allows us to build around bookends in Smith and Armstead and a potential 10-12 year starter in Cooper inside.

That would be quite a haul. 3 rounds, 3 starters.

Kiffin and Marinelli have never used high picks on the SOLB, why would they now?

Senility?...and I think any guy they drafted would play the weak side with Carter over the TE.

I'd be all for drafting a guy like Brown or Greene. While they might not have a huge role in the base defense, being able to sub one of them in, rather than Ernie Sims or Poppinga can be really helpful. Bring in a guy with talent instead of a JAG and the defense doesn't have to miss a beat. Considering the fact that Lee and Carter have hardly played a whole season between them, I'd think that OLB would be a priority in the draft.
