2001 NewEngland, Miami, New York Jets also in 2001 Chicago, GreenBay, and Tampa made it from the same division you were only 20 years off......;)

in 1998 4 teams from AFC East made the playoffs.

I don't think that is correct. Dallas, Washington and Philly all made it in 1992 that I know of off the top of my head. Philly and Washington won in the wildcard and then both lost in the divisional round to Dallas and San Fran, respectively.

I know the announcers said it is the first time it has happend under the current 8 division(4 teams per division) format. I am pretty sure the old AFC west had it happen a couple of times since 1981.

Dude..... There used to only be 3 divisons with 5 teams instead of 4 divisions with 4 teams in each conference... they changed this in the 2002 season. So learn the facts my friend.

Not impressed.... all 3 teams suck.

They all suck? Then how are they among the top 6 in the NFC?

I think this shows more how the NFC East is a tough division. Any one of the NFC East teams (and maybe even the Skins) could have won the NFC West.

My apologies guys. I thought he meant the NFCE.

I gotta take some Nyquil and get some sleep. Under the weather and it's showing.
