It is amazing that is has taken JG over 6 weeks to figure out we need to get the ball to Dez and company on the move. All these bubble screens etc have been wasted plays most of the season. Miles, Dez and Roy are all good after the catch. It was amazing how much the offense opened up when JG finally spread out the Giants and tried hitting guys on slants and other quick hitting routes. Too bad he waited until after the defense was gassed and the game was over to open up the playbook and went for it.

We need more Dez and less of Bennett and Grankowski. JG keeps trying to pack things in with 2 TEs with a FB and execute a power running game. It didnt work the entire first half. You cant played scared, trying to avoid sacks at all costs. Plus there are other ways to protect your offensive line besides max protection as we saw later in the game.

I truly dont think there is ONE team in the NFL that can match up with the dynamic group of WRs we have here. With our WRs you dont have to throw the ball 20 yards down field to make a big play. Get Dez and MA the ball on the MOVE and let them create some YAC. The WRs are the strength of the offense, use them! I guarantee once you do it will open up more running lanes.

While I am ranting, what happened to the back shoulder passes to MA that were tearing up the NFL the first 3 weeks? It seems like JG scraps the stuff that is working and keeps going back to the same crap that isnt working week after week.

Sorry I had to rant, I am not the most football savy poster around here but I am not blind either. You see other teams doing things that seem so simple and obvious that just seem to escape JG.

Now why would Garrett go three-wide when he could just run a delayed draw for -1 yard or throw a shallow crossing route to Jason Witten for 4 yards?

Not only that but putting Dez out wide with the slot guy next to him and using sort of a pick play to move Dez underneath on a quick slant, and Dez basically exploded after he caught it. Probably could've been an 80yd touch down run had they been on their own 20.

NOt to mention, I actually think Kitna sort of warmed up after a while.

This is what I've been stating all along about Garrett.

All he does is play scared and curls this offense up into a ball. He plays away from our strengths which is our recievers. But this entire year all he did was throw screens and dump offs to TEs. His playcalling is so predictable.

If Garrett was the genius that he is why not look at the film for the year 2007 when we didn't have a problem putting up 30 points on anyone.

He will see that we threw deep. Our mentally was to score from anywhere. We let Romo be Romo and allow him to win games for us. We went to our star players. Although we had a porous line back then also, it didn't stop our offense from throwing deep. We used play action, pump fakes, stop and go routes, and basically we were unpredictable with everything that we did.

Garrett's playcalling is nothing like what we had in 2007. And its a shame that because of him, our offense has sputtered with these big time players like Dez, Felix, Miles, Roy, etc.

That is a good line and so true. JG goes puts the offense into the fetal position then expects to strike with deadly force. JG the Bud Bundy of offensive coordinators. :)
