Count me in for 3 in a row with Romo at the helm.
1) Everyone knows they must play their best and bring their A-game. I think too many players were mentally expecting TO to do it all.

2) Romo has no built-in bias to Terry Glenn and will spread the ball around and especially look for TO. When in doubt just trust TO and throw it his way.

3)No more sideline rants from TO. He will take Romo under his wing.

4)I think the cowboys go to more spread-out formations, 4-wide and the shotgun. Glenn and Witten on one side and TO and Hurd on the other. Hurd can be key here. He gives them speed on both sides with TG,and Romo has practiced with him a lot. I also expect a lot of passes to JJ/Thompson (more speed) in the flat and draws with MB/JJ. I also don't expect Romo to audible that much. Call the play in the huddle. Get up to the line and snap the ball quickly. I don't see Carolina blitzing a lot vs. a 4-wide formation. Carolina will try to rely on their front 4 to get pressure. If our OL can play decent, and Romo be careful with the ball and make the throws, the offense should score.

5)Beware of Keyshawn. He will be pumped. Try to take away the pass and make Carolina run to beat you.

6)Carolina barely beat Clev, TB, and Balt. And they could only score 14 pts vs a weak Cinci defense.

7)After Carolina, Wash and Az should be easier.
I hope I'm right.

I am not a TO hater.. but given the players history with QBs, what gives you any hint he has the ability to take Romo "under his wing". Everything will be fine, if he gets the ball.. but if he thinks he is not, he will explode.. Romo, Bledsoe or Jesus himself.. it won't matter who the QB is.

But i def think we have the talent to win all 3 of these games.

Not so much TO, but Witten. Witten hasn't been getting to many balls thrown his way w/ Bledsoe at the helm bc he's been stuck in protection. W/ more mobility from Romo, the offense can send Witten out on routes.

It was immediately apparent Monday night since Witten had his best game this season.

Romo has the humility to get the ball to the playmakers and let them do the work instead of holding the ball for a great play to try and be the hero like that other qb does.

I think in order to win, Romo has to take care of the ball and keep the defense off the field for the majority of the first half. We need the run game to gain solid chunks of yardage and gain repeated first downs off of decent runs and good short passes. Romo is MUCH better at the short pass than Bledsoe is in my opinion so I think we have a much better chance to sustain drives. Witten helps that cause immensely by being free to run routes instead of be in max protect.

As long as the offense doesn't make the defense consistently come on and off and deal with long panther drives repeatedly cause of crap like safeties on the 2nd play of the series and quick interceptions on the first series of the possession, we got a good shot at winning by running the ball and with defense.

I also think that now that we have Romo, we need to catch the Panthers by surprise with Crayton or MAYBE Hurd. With T.O., Glenn and Witten drawing the majority of the coverage, one of them has to make a move and slip by the secondary, I think they can do it.

I'm confident that we can win this game, as a matter of fact, I'm gonna put cash on the moneyline for Dallas to take this at like +200ish, who needs 6 points from the spread? Straight up victory baby, element of surprise. Just hope Peppers doesn't have a field day.

with romo..i can finally say..we will be able to use our WEAPONS....

1)he can buy time

2)because of his mobility and sense to get rid of ball early...n the fact we have TO, Glenn, And Witten..the blitzes may reduce

3) he will excite our O..make it easier on the the O line...and the D might get inspired..n play up to potential

I just put this in another thread, but I'll say it again.

Romo doesn't have to go 3-0. If he gets even 1 or 2 wins, this team can still have a great chance to click and go on a run late in the season.

It´s always tough to play 3 straight on the road, but we´re not exactly going against the cream of the crop, our opponents have a combined 7 and 14 record.

Having said that, I´d be thrilled if we stood at 5-4 before the Indy game at Dallas.

From what I've seen of Romo, if he can take care of the ball, i.e. minimize his mistakes, and balance that gun-slinging attitude of his, we've got ourselves a QB. So 3-0 is a possibility that I'm optimistic about.
