Don't forget peeps from Phoenix, and LAS VEGAS will be making the trek!(myself included). We have quite a few coming from LV.
I would be shocked if it wasn't over 50%. I wouldn't be surprised if SoCal has more Cowboys fans than the entire state of Texas. lol
I went into a sports memorabilia store in SD last weekend (firm retreat, wrong weekend of course as I wish it had been this weekend as I would have gone to game for sure) and there was 3x as much Cowboy stuff for sale as Charger stuff.
Yall better rep hard.
I saw a study once where someone looked at NFL games for home field representation.
When you hear someone say there is 40-50% of a visitor team's fans in the stands, it is never true. It looks that way in extreme cases sometimes because often the out of town fans will spend big to get the lower level seats.
But the facts are that an extremely high representation would be 15-25%. Think of the Arizona Cards games in the old days when Cowboy fans seemed to fill that place up. In reality, it was about 25%--maybe even close to 30%--which is an insane number.

It may have seemed that way. When we went to AZ last month it was ATLEAST 50%
I lived in Cali for a few years, from SF to LA to SD. I went to the game in SF a couple years ago and it was at least 40% Cowboys fans. I will not believe whatever the official count/stats say, it looked close to 50/50 for me. Me or the wife could walk anywhere in the stadium during the game and be surrounded by Dallas fans, whether it be upper or lower deck.
As for the fans in Cali, the majority are Dallas and the Raiders. The SF fans are really only in the Bay-Area, stopping at the Bay and San Matteo bridges towards Oakland. You don't really see me Central any more of them outside the city. Same goes for the Chargers, most fans are in So Cal only. Dallas and Oakland represent everywhere in the state.
Very wrong on the 49ers fan base, they are huge in Northern Cali.. All north of Bakersfield to Oregon. Especially in the central valley along with many Raiders & Cowboys fans.
Yea, well, I tended to stay away from the armpit known as Bakersfield. Also, didn't travel much further north than Suasalito. Was mainly talking about the SF area and below.
