Own him? While he's been far from perfect, he hasn't played terribly against anyone this year except Denver. Tom Brady, one of the greatest of all time, has himself struggled mightily @ Denver - certainly nothing to be ashamed of when it's a blip in a remarkable start to his career. He is a second year QB SIGNIFICANTLY ahead of the QB learning curve. How is it not understood let alone expected that a 2nd round QB would have things to work on?

I'm beyond baffled by this agenda that because Dak isn't Rodgers 21 games into his career he blows.

Poor and wild against the Giants.

Awful against Denver.

Poor against Arizona. Completed only 13 passes, including two jump balls to Butler.

Good against Los Angeles the first half, poor in the second half.

Good against Green Bay, which has almost as bad of a defense as Dallas.

He should be fine in time. But right now, he's average at best. His inability to throw good defenses out of pressure looks is hurting the run game. It'll get better over the coming years.

Where would you expect a 2nd year QB to be in terms of progression? Would you resist the notion that Dak is well ahead of the progression curve?

If not, why not allow him time to continue to develop rather than rip on him for not being a finished product 21 games into his career? Especially considering the results that he's providing are already very good and more than enough to win with.

Should rename this emoji to Garrett.

How far back does those 25 games go to? All under Garrett, under Wade too?

Seriously, have you seen erod's gazillion Dak hate threads lately? Talk about nonsense.

So...keep these Dak comments in those threads. You apparently don't have a shortage of them to choose from.

I want to see opposing team's conversion percentage on 3rd and 8 or more against us since 2013. It has to be high.

Are you a mod?

Last time I checked, this is a forum where you can express your opinions within the guidelines.

Was my comments outside the guidelines?
I don't think so.

I am fully allowing for that. Unlike most, who think he's almost Tom Brady.

We'll know 2-3 years from now after he develops.

Heard an amazingly disgusting stat.

In the last 25 games the Cowboys have scored 30+ points at home, they are just 15-10.

That's the worst percentage in the NFL.

Ugly.
Better yet we're only the 2nd team in NFL history to score 30 points or more in consecutive home games and lose.

I wrote that in another thread. Since 2010, we have ten losses at home when scoring 30 points. Next closes is New Orleans with five.
