I knew they were interested in crypien. He's going to be one of the worst safeties in this draft. Jeez.

Neither are rated as highly as Decastro was, and he fell like a rock.

Yup--I also think Cooper goes before Warmack because of his versatility.

It appears both will go in the top 20, but neither will be selected top 10 even in a draft that's void of blue chip prospects.

Add Reid to that list of worst safeties. I trying to understand how anybody would think that Reid and Vaccaro are solid picks.

I am also warming up to Eric Reid from LSU. In the 2nd though! He and Claiborne supposedly are tight and have great chemistry. Not to mention Barry Church is also from LSU and that chemistry could not hurt.

We have to fix our awful offensive line or its all just spinning our wheels again.

Romo can be productive if he's not running for his life and our RB need decent blocking to be somewhat effective. We saw what murray can do.

OL depth(a sad complete joke) + adequate run protection(because of RG3rd,westbrook, and kapirnik) should be top priority.

I would argue that both rate higher than Decastro. Warmack is considered by some to be the best player in the draft.

Disagree. Warmack is the most highly touted lineman in this draft but don't forget DeCastro was touted by experts to be the best G since Hutchinson...

I firmly believe Warmack will be there at 18... I don't see the titans going guard and possibly St. Louis will if their target WR's are gone.

Titans and Chargers scare me with OG picks. Chargers are going to snag one of them. Hopefully tenessee does not.

Not if Lane Johnson falls to them.

Teams always claim to value guards but I don't believe them.

I agree and that's why I don't think we will take one in the 1st round

I know many on here were begging for him but he certainly wasn't ahead of guys like Richardson, Kalil and Mo on most "experts" boards....Some cowboys fans probly do over rate the interior lineman last few years because our own have been so inept...
Most scouts ranking had him in the 10-15 range from what I recall.

Scout had him at 14

Kiper also had Decastro at 12

If we don't draft big uglies it will be the biggest mistake!

Right!

Drafting Vaccaro in the 1st round would like like getting a Hershey's Kiss for a $1.00: He is still very good but he is not worth the price!

Fingers crossed. NFL.com through up a new mock with us taking Menelik Watson OT in the first and passing on cooper. Threw up in my mouth.

Revisionist history. If I remember correctly, Decastro was often ranked as the third prospect after Luck and RGIII. It's fascinating to watch fans overrate guard prospects nearly every year.

Jerry, is that you?

I'd be interested to see where we had DeCastro on our board. From the board we saw a few years back it seems clear that truly elite talent (the G from SF and C from Pittsburg) get ranked around the right spot by our scouts. What also appears true is that if you aren't elite (e.g. late first/early 2nd material), the team gives you a 4th round grade
