30 year anniversaries over the coming weeks

I remember all of these games like they were played last week. This particular NFC championship game was probably my all time favorite Cowboys game.

I'm 52 yet feel pretty old right now!

I was actually more nervous about that Eagles game believe it or not. They had tormented us so badly for years and even earlier that season gave us a tremendous beating on MNF....

Just seemed like they kind of had our number.
Once our guys waxed them, I actually felt really good about the Niners game. True story, I went to a sizeable university that produced a decent # of NFL players. 1992-93 was my freshman year and I lived in what was loosely known as the "Jock dorm" where they put all the football players. Anyways the starting QB (who eventually went on to play in the NFL) was a big NIners fan.

I bet him $20 straight up, no spread. he was NOT happy when he paid me..... LOL

once they beat SF, everyone knew the Super Bowl was a mere formality. Good times.
