Yep... home-field value gets magnified in the playoffs

the 90s Cowboys were
  • 7-0 at home
  • but only 2-4 in road games
and, of course, 3-0 in Super Bowls!

Since then, Dallas is
  • 3-3 at home
  • 0-5 on the road
2 of those road losses were freakishly weird with the starting QB for some reason playing special teams and muffin a hold and then the reversed Dez catch in GB. But in the end, no road win for a very long time.

yet Mike Fisher will tell us fans that WE are wrong. The guy is bull headed. Its been 30 years since we had a playoff win on the road and he refuses to cast blame to Jerry. THAT is why we are a joke. Stuff like that. I listened to Fisher this morning and it was frankly, disgusting. Defending nearly 3 decades of ineptitude is sickening.

I do think, as flawed as Tampa is this year, them barely making .500 while playing in possibly the worst division, and not really having a tremendous home-field advantage like Green Bay or Seattle, this is a great chance to end the streak.

I say we do it

Hey, maybe so, I hear you
but ....
Jerry wasn't the only head coach to have his starting QB playing special teams (especially in the playoffs!) in the last 30 years.
Jerry didn't reverse the call in Green Bay
He had teams good enough to win on the field on both of those days.

it's been bad....but weird too

all true. But wouldn't it be refreshing to hear a local team reporter be honest 1 time about the dry spell? DQ btw gets a free pass for shoddy defense the last bunch of games and THAT is also weird.

Yeah this is like my Frogs vs Michigan. Best possible matchup to start playoffs. Really believe Bucs are trash and we win. After that the road could get ugly but I’ll take this W to start
