We got steamrolled that game.

But then we came out and were a better team.

The Pats are good. But I think we can be much better.

We aren't that far behind.

Yeah, I was reminded of the 38-20 loss to the 49ers in the Cowboys last Super Bowl season.

With the way Dallas sports have been the past few years, I'd rather lose a few games in the regular season and win big in the playoffs rather than be the best regular season team and go out early in the playoffs.

Worrying about staying undefeated can actually be a bad thing for a team.

I agree with you guys...give us 10 more games...get our guys that our out back...let the system sink in...we'll be fine... this will be a good motivation that we aren't there quite yet...but we are better than almost any other team in the league and better than all the teams left on our schedual...we'll be fine...lets just hope the players can bounce back next week

Despite these Pat fans and the media, in the 3rd quarter we were able to take a lead over them--the first for any team this season. I give them credit for being a good team but hopefully we will be a better team for this game and improve as the season progresses.

Now Jerry has to do his job as a GM and bring in those additional players to upgrade the play not only at WR but on defense as well.

I also give a lot of credit to our defense in the first half. I think we sacked Brady 3 times which ties the total amount of sacks against him in the first 5 games.

Yes, thank you Professor.

I was merely pointing out that one game doesn't define a team.

Of course you could be merely having a stab at humor which just flew by.

The only thing I want to stab right now is a ref.

Yes, we all want to stab Refs.

The PI on Moss at the endzone was atrocious. That really turned the game ugly.

I just can't see how one team can have 12 penalties while another only has 3.

That was a REALLY bad call against us.

That said, we just committed too many penalties overall - esp the OL.

No, but it is a history lesson about how a severe defeat early in the season need not prevent a team from winning out. The Cowboys won the super bowl at the end of that season.

Here is the link to a report of the game. Everyone should read it: http://www.***BANNED-URL***/sharedc.../recordbook/yearbyyear/1992/100692eagles.html

What about that call that negated a long TO reception-they called illegal formation on Witten and TO, Simms said it didn't look like it(the same possession where Kosier held on Barber's 4th down run).

Remember Week 5 in 1992. 3-0 Dallas at 3-0 Philly (playing amazing D the first three games) on MNF.

Our young team got beat 31-7, but I felt positive about the 'boys from the game and we beat Philly twice on our way to the SB.

This game will make us better and by playing NE in the regular season, it doubles our chances of beating NE if we meet again in the SB. We will be ready the next time. In 2001 when St. Louis played at NE in the regular season, NE couldn't stop St. Louis but that game helped them for the SB. What goes around comes around. :starspin
