40: 4.44-4.47
CAREER SNAPSHOT: AFCA, 3rd team All-American, 1st team All-CAA w/30 TT, 1.5 TFL, 3 INT, 8 PBU, FR, 22-398-18.1-0 KR, 2-55-27.5-0 PR in 13 gms in '09. HM All-American CB, 1st team All-CAA w/55 TT, 4 TFL, 7 INT, 13 PBU, FR, FF at CB, 34-702-20.6 KR, 5-86-17.2 PR in 16 gms in '08. 3rd team All-American KR, 1st team All-CAA KR, CAA ST POY w/33-1002-30.4-2 KR, 5-30-6.0 rec, 4-24-6.0 PR in 12 gms in '07. Redshirted in '06.
STRENGTHS: Highly productive. Versatile. Can return kicks and play corner. Good speed. Aggressive and physical. Good instincts. Good acceleration. Adequate man to man skills.
WEAKNESSES: Marginal size. Lacks bulk for the NFL. A little tight in the hips. Gets beat by bigger, stronger receivers showing he could be nothing more than a practice type player or nickel corner to guard smaller slot receivers.
ANALYSIS: Rogers has been one of the most productive players over the last three years in the FCS and while he has the numbers and speed to suggest he could be a starter he lacks the size and cover skills to be an every down corner. Likely a nickel back who plays on special teams but lacks the skills at this point to be more than a 1-2 year borderline NFL player.
JBS PROJECTION: Low Priority Free Agent.
NFL PROJECTION: Borderline Draftable.
