That's a ridiculous number of passing attempts when you have a struggling rookie QB, your running game is working, and it's a close game from start to finish.

Totally inexcusable performance tonight by Linehan. And frankly I put some of the blame on Garrett too for not telling him to knock it off.

Half of Zeke's 24 carries went for 3 yards or less, resulting in a lot of 3rd and longs. It wasn't "working" as much as you're suggesting, but there were a few good runs. If the Cowboys weren't trailing in the 4th he'd have hit 30 carries. That he only had 19 yards on 8 rushes in the second half - 13 yards on one carry, 6 total on the other 7 - is another factor.

But I get it. Dak needs benched, Linehan should be fired, and Jerry killed our momentum. I've been reading the board.

Given the weather conditions, I thought we would see a few more QB runs. Not sure why that was not an option. I didn't think that Zeke would get the number of carries that Bell got yesterday, but also more runs from Morris to spell Zeke.

No choice man. We had too many 3rd and 11, 3rd and 12 tonight. Sometimes due to bonehead penalties, sometimes due to the run getting stuffed on 1st(2nd half) gotta throw the ball there.

Of course we shouldn't run it on 3rd and 10 or 11, but I'm talking specifically about 2nd Down here.

We nearly always pass on 2nd and 6/7/8. It is painfully predictable. No reason not to run the ball on 2nd and 7 to catch the defense off guard or create a 3rd and manageable.

Anytime Prescott throws the ball 37 times, you can chalk up a loss. He's not that kind of QB.

LINEHAN AND GARRETT lost this game. Pathetic by coaching staff. Defense had 3 Turnovers and nearly 6. Dez and Dak never came to play. Both them and Linehan totally unprepared to play. Dez needs to pay back the money the past 2 years. He has been a waste of money since his big signing.

Gotta agree. We ran 7 times on first down in the second half for 14 yards. Does anyone think maybe a play action might have worked? That's doesn't even require creativity, just an obvious adjustment to what the Giants were doing.

The Cowboys last 9 plays were passes, which isn't unusual in the situation. Prior to that end of game stretch there were 28 passes and 25 runs, with the last 3 running plays netting a total of negative 5 yards.
