People really think this 3D trend is some gimmick? I have a hard time believing anyone under the age of 40 can possibly believe this. Anyone who is familiar with technology pretty much understands this is where all forms of media tech are heading.
Having to wear glasses sucks.. yes.. but it's the first step. Not far down the line they will not be required.
They were showing the Masters at Bestbuy the other day on a new Sony 3D tv demo. Golf is absurdly boring but my god did it look beautiful. The depth of the view is amazing.
If I owned one of these TV's there is not a chance I'd ever not be wearing my glasses while watching NFL football.
The pure awesomeness that will happen once the Video gaming industry starts fully utilizing this technology is something I highly anticipate.
