3rd down conversion rate

Dak and the offense have been awesome on 3rd down. We are ranked 4th on the season in 3rd down conversion rate and #1 since Dak came back with a 58.9% conversion rate (4 points higher than next best eagles at 54.7%).

Cowboys are converting third downs at a higher rate than anyone AND they’re producing bigger plays than anyone.

Yeah he has picks that you would like to see go away but he has been money when we have needed him to be.

Very important stat.

While I agree 3rd down conversions are one of the three most important stats in determining the outcome of most games, I am more concerned with the other side of the ball. Prior to last night the few games before were poor showings by the defense in getting off the field on 3rd down. Last night was better but the opponent had a QB that you pray never sees the field, and probably the toughest RB in the league sidelined for the game. Basically last night didnt convince me that problem was solved.

To push it further, since Dak has been back from his hand injury he is leading the league in completion percentage at 71% and touchdowns with (22). People are too busy looking at negatives to see anything positive. Go Cowboys!
